His silence irked her patience. Numerous thoughts were running in her mind.

Why was he looking at Liam?

Did Liam plot this?

No.

He wouldn't hurt me like this.

He wouldn't hurt me at all.

It cannot be true.

He simply wants to blame Liam...

Liam loves me, he loves me.

Liam thought he was going to put all the blame on him. That's why he widened his eyes. Not because he was guilty of hurting Hazel.

He looked back at Hazel who was looking at him with impatient eyes.

He knew what was running in her mind. And he would clear everything today.

" I had to lie...I was forced to lie... Hazel" James said. His eyes sparked with honesty.

She was about to open her mouth but James interrupted.

" Eve had your photos with Liam...." And the truth slipped out of his mouth.

It was Eve. Eve Addison.

Eve was jealous of Hazel. Right from the beginning, she harboured hate towards her.

Hazel didn't do anything but still, she was able to catch the attention of AJ, the big bad guy of Christ University.

It wasn't her fault.

She wasn't at fault at all.

When she learnt that Alex has challenged James, she thought maybe he would leave her after fucking her once. That's what kept her sane in the beginning.

But as things progressed, James didn't seem to stop at all. If anything, his madness, his obsession for her only increased. It turned to Love.

He had never sent flowers to anyone. He never stalked anyone before. It was Hazel. Her indifferent behaviour towards him, her bad-ass nature, her kind heart and everything about her impressed him and attracted him.

What he thought was a desire to win a challenge wasn't just a desire anymore. It was very much more than that. It was Love.

And when Eve realised that James was loving Hazel, her loosely hanging sanity broke.

She decided to destroy Hazel's happiness. It wasn't like she hadn't done it before. She did. But now, what she planned to do was much worse than anything else.

Her jealousy turned to loathe and she wasn't thinking sane.

She forced Alex to bully her. She posted fake things about Hazel and her character using a fake identity called 'kissmyass'

She started the account and then Samaira joined her in bullying Hazel to shreds and pieces.

As if backstabbing wasn't enough, she sneaked into Liam's laptops, took the photos of Liam and Hazel and gave them to Eve.

At that time, Hazel and James were in his farmhouse. Enjoying the weekend in sexual bliss.

She texted James and he wasn't ready to talk to her. That's when she sent him the photos of Liam and Hazel kissing. So, James agreed to meet her. He had to meet her. There was no choice for him.
