Bruce Wayne x Female!reader

Bruce Wayne and Y/N had grown up together, their families long-time friends in the upper society of Gotham. As children, they spent countless hours playing in each other's mansions and gardens, their bond as close as siblings. But as they grew up, Y/N started to feel something more for Bruce. Something warmer and deeper, a love that she knew she couldn't express.

They went to college together, Bruce studying business and economics, Y/N studying literature and art. They saw each other every day, but Y/N couldn't bring herself to confess her love. She was afraid it would ruin what they had, the friendship that had always been a constant in her life.

On the day that Y/N graduated and was set to leave for a university in Europe, Bruce drove her to the airport. In the car, Y/N mustered up all her courage and said, "Bruce, I have something to tell you."

He turned to her, his eyes warm and curious. "What is it, Y/N?"

"I love you," she blurted out, her heart pounding in her chest.

Bruce was silent for a moment, his expression unreadable. Y/N felt a wave of regret wash over her. She had ruined everything.

But then, suddenly, Bruce turned to her and said, "I love you too, Y/N."

Her heart skipped a beat, and the rest of the drive to the airport was spent in a comfortable silence, both of them lost in thought and the newfound knowledge that they loved each other.

Years passed, and Y/N became a successful writer, with several novels under her belt. Bruce, meanwhile, continued to run Wayne Enterprises and fight crime as Batman. They stayed in touch, but they lived different lives, worlds apart.

Then, one day, Y/N called Bruce, saying she was coming back to Gotham to visit. Bruce was thrilled, and when he went to pick her up at the airport, he found her waiting for him with a child.

Y/N had met someone in Europe, and they had fallen in love, getting married and starting a family. But when her husband died suddenly, Y/N decided to come back to Gotham, to the only other person she had ever loved.

With a smile, Bruce greeted Y/N and their child, embracing them both. They spent the rest of the day catching up, reminiscing about old times and discussing Y/N's new life.

And as they sat together, with their child playing at their feet, Bruce realized that he had never been happier. With Y/N by his side, he knew he had everything he needed.
