Anni woke me up that morning with a smile and her fingers running across my waist in an effort to tickle me awake, like she did every name day. I laughed and sat up, " Six and ten already." I smiled. " Where have the years gone?", " Oh, hush princess, you're making me feel old," Anni laughed.

I opened my balcony doors and stood out on the metal, looking down at the city below. " It has been so many years since I've felt this breeze." I smiled. " You're name day always did fall on a beautiful day." I looked confused at the carriages and horses that were making their way up the long road to the castle, sighing as I realised it was all the men who would try to court me. " I can't even get to enjoy some of my name day." " It won't be that bad princess, I'm sure you'll find someone who will grab your attention."

" Prehaps, for now, I assume I must make myself look presentable."," I'm afraid so, but I have your bath ready for you."," Thank you, Anni." I turned around and looked at her confused." Why are you staring at me?", " Nothing, princess. Please enjoy your bath while I get your dress ready."

I slipped my nightgown down my body and slipped into the hot water, smiling at the feeling of it engulfing my skin. " What about this dress?" Anni asked, taking out a long blue dress. I looked at it for a moment. " No, I'd like another dress, the dragon scale one" Anni's eyes widened " But princess, you are meant to look presentable for all the Lords today" " As princess I shall wear what I see fit. It is a beautiful, warm day out, and if I am to entertain these men in the sun, then I shall do it in what I choose."

Anni helped me dress for the day, putting a braid on the side of my head, allowing the rest of my white hair to flow freely. I wore my sliver locket. Aemond had gifted me, just as I did every day. I looked at myself in the mirror and nodded, " Perfect, thank you, Anni. Come, I'm sure we have a lot to do today."

Anni followed behind me as I walked through the castle, receiving a lot of stares as I walked past the servants and guards of the castle. " Princess, maybe you supuls change?" Anni asked." I'm perfectly fine, thank you, " I spat back as I made my way into the dining hall. To my surprise, it was full of people. My family, my uncles and aunt, as well as most of the Lords and their sons of Westeros.

Everyone turned to the door as I walked through, all eyes staring at me in surprise. I held my head high as I made my way down the long tables of Lords, staring at me as I walked past. I glanced up at Aemond, his eye wide as he stared at me, his eye lingering over my exposed body, a hint of lust clear in his lilac colour.

" Mother, father. Your grace. " I bowed my head before sitting down at the head table. " What are you wearing?" Mother asked in a hushed tone, " What I felt comfortable in, it is a hot table mother. I wish to dress comfortably in my own home."

" On any other day, it would be fine, but why today of all days?", " Don't worry, mother, it's only until I need to prepare for the ball." As breakfast came to an end, I stood with my parents and the Queen as the Lords and their sons lined up to introduce themselves to me. " Princess Aemma, may I present my eldest son, Cregan Stark, future Lord of Winterfell and Warden in the North." " Lord Stark, " I smiled." I must admit I've always wished to meet the Northerners." " I'm glad I could fulfil your wish, Princess."

I turned to the eldest Stark son and smiled. " Cregan, a pleasure." " The pleasure is all mine, princess, I hope I can accompany you on a walk before the ball." He smiled playfully at me, " I look forward to it, Lord Stark. " I smiled. I noticed my mother and the Queen gave each other a look before the next house stood forward. I had spoken with a few houses when I froze, " Ser Kit." I smiled in surprise. " What are you doing here?", " For the same reason as any other man, my princess, to ask for your hand."

" You've trained me in combat since I was a girl." Yes, and I got to witness your beauty develop over those six years. I know you well, Princess. I look forward to our walk. " He smirked as his father, Lord Arryn, bowed to us. I laughed at his boldness before finishing up with the rest of the houses.
