Road Trip

Getting comfy inside the tour bus, I start looking out the window.

"What do you guys usually do on the road?" I ask.

"Crush Tom in Uno," Georg says.

"No!" Tom exclaims. "You just cheat."

"Nahh," Georg replies. "You just suck."

I laugh seeing Tom get all worked up. "Let's play some Uno and really see."

I watch Gustav reach into a cub board on the bus nearby and pull out Uno.

"Are we playing stacks?"

"Of course," Gustav says.

I eagerly wait, watching Gustav shuffle and deal the cards.

"Since you say I'm a cheater," Georg says. "Tom start."

The first card down was a yellow. We watched as Tom played a skip right off the bat, making me loose my turn.

"Wooow," I say. "Starting off real hostile."

"There's no mercy in Uno," Tom says.

Can't disagree.

I watch Bill a yellow 7, then a blue one on top.

"Dude I don't have blue," Gustav says drawing a card.

"Loser," I say.

"You'll be the loser when I win," Gustav replies.

"Totally," I say sarcastically.

I see Georg place down a blue reverse.

"You're kidding," Gustav says, drawing yet another card.

The game started pretty chill but things began to pick up fast, when Tom had two cards.

"Yeaaa," I say. "You're not winning."

I place down a plus 2 and Tom laughs at me.

"I got one too," he says placing it down.

"Uno!" I shout. "But you forgot to call uno."

"This was a set up!!" he replies drawing cards.

I laugh at him watching Georg put down another plus 2, follow by Gustav.

"Screw all you guys," Bill says picking up 8 cards.

I laugh at him placing down a wild. "Blue and Uno."

"Someone stop her," Tom says placing down blue 2.

"That's Tom!" Georg says. "Uno, Uno out."

He stacked two green 2's.

"Can't beat the master," Georg says brushing off his shoulders.

"Nahh you too cocky," I reply. "I'll beat you once."

"Yea yea," Georg says.

Gustav continues the game changing the color back to blue.

"She has a last blue why would you do that." Tom says.

"Shit I forgot," Gustav replies.

I snicker a bit.

"Don't worry I got y'all," Bill says as he places down a skip.

"F you man," I tell him.

"Gladly," he replies snickering.

Tom places down another skip in the color green and says "Uno."

I watch Bill play a green 7.

"Now's the time to draw," Bill says.

"You wish," I reply placing down another wild card. "Uno out and blue."
