A few weeks later Lucious brought his family out for dinner, they were all just now waiting on Cookie to arrive.

Soon enough Lucious saw Cookie and went to get her as Meagan sat boredly beside Hakeem.

"We both said somethings that we shouldn't have, all right? So let's just squash all of this" Jamal said from the other side of Hakeem.

Meagan noticed how Andre and Rhonda kept on eyeing Jamal and Hakeem from across the table with small smirks on their faces.

"My video about to drop in a couple weeks. Dad thinks it's dope" Hakeem bragged as he drank his champagne.

"Well, remind me to get both of y'all autographs after dinner" Jamal scoffed and rolled his eyes at Hakeem.

After being busy with Majesty, TV interviews, radio interviews and photo shoots, Meagan was caught up with all the drama with her family.

Hakeem had set up Jamal to be robbed at his studio, they fought, and Hakeem found out that Tiana has a girlfriend.

Soon enough Lucious and Cookie returned, "what is she doing here?" Cookie question as she entered the private section of the restaurant.

Anika smirked at her as she drank her champagne, "have a seat, please" Lucious told Cookie.

Lucious walked away from her and headed towards his seat.

"Hi, everyone!" Cookie says greeting everyone, the greeted her back as she took a seat beside Meagan.

"Hey, pumpkin" Cookie greeted Anika, "Hey, Cookie" Anika says with a big smile.

"Ooh, a rose" Cookie says a she took a pink rose from the table and play with it while eyeing Lucious seductively.

"Everyone, I'm so glad that you guys can join us. Baby, get up for a second" Lucious says to Anika who couldn't stop herself from smiling.

"We wanted you to be the first to know that I have asked Anika to be my lovely wife" Lucious announced to the family.

Soon after that the only thing you could hear was a glass breaking. Meagan's champagne glass that had held orange juice had fell from her hand, "this cannot be happening" she muttered to herself.

Anika immediately began to show off the ring, "bam. It's an Asscher-cut Krupp diamond." Anika bragged and smirked at Cookie's upset face.

"It's the same one that Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor" Anika continued bragging.

"It's huge" Rhonda said not knowing what else to say to the shocking news.

"It's beautiful isn't it!" Anika says showing off the ring even more, "to dad and Anika. Congratulations" Andre says raising his champagne glass for a toast.

Everyone said congratulations except for Meagan who looked at her dad and apparently soon to be stepmother in disgust.

"So, how did he propose?" Rhonda questioned after no one said anything after the toast.

"Um, last Wednesday, I came downstairs, he opened thr doors. There's champagne, ring, everything, and Anthony Hamilton in our living room, singing The Point of it All. Oh, it was beautiful. He flew him in from London just for me" Anika reminiscent the night she got engaged.

"I love you" Lucious tells her, "I love you too" she told him as they kiss, "dad's doing it big" Hakeem commented.

Meagan rolled her eyes and kicked his ankle hard under the table, "ow!" He yelp and sent her a glare.

"So, let me get this straight" Cookie began as she still played with the rose, "and here comes the rest of the drama, this family I swear" Meagan muttered to herself.
