"well it's simple really.." Reo put on his safety goggles and gloves before giving you a proper demonstration.

You stared in awe as his flask didn't blow up in his face and the liquid actually started to turn light green. You couldn't help but think that that was exactly what you had done. Though you definitely messed it up somehow...

It was one of those rare days that your usual lab partner was absent and you had to pair with someone else. Lucky you that Nagi had overslept and Reo was left without a partner too.

Working with him was definitely a change, you no longer had to guess the answers or copy it off other people because reo was a genius at practically everything. After he wrote down the report for the experiment, he slid his workbook over for you to copy.

"oh, thanks! how'd you know i wanted to copy it?" You asked.

Everyone was supposed to write their own reports, even if it was pair work.

"Ah, did you not need it? Nagi would always copy mine, sorry." Reo replied slightly embarrassed at the force of habit, going to retrieve his book.

"No! It's fine!" You quickly stopped him from taking his book back by roughly placing your hand on top of his, successfully halting his movements. "I actually do need it, thank you." You muttered, removing your hand to copy down the neatly written sentences.

Smiling at you, reo let you do your thing as his other hand traced over the part where your hand had been previously resting on. He looked away, blushing at the contact that didn't even seem to affect you.

Reo couldn't help but find it weird, when did he get so nervous around girls? It wasn't usually like this with others.

With your perfect score, you excitedly made your way to the student dorms. You could easily tell which was Chigiri's room, spotting the small pink charm on the door handle.

You knocked a few times, hearing some movement from beyond the door before it was opened.

"Kunigami!" You greeted the tall guy in front of you, "is Chigiri here?" You tried to peek into the dorm to which he allowed by moving aside.

"Not yet, but he should be back soon... do you want to wait for him?" After some contemplation, kunigami decided to invite you in.

Accepting his offer, you awkwardly went in, not knowing what to do.

"Just do whatever you want, i'm sure he won't mind." Giving you a smile and a reassuring nod, you walked over to Chigiri's side of the room, taking a seat on the edge of his bed.

"I have to go to practice, just let me know if you need me." Looking up from your phone, Kunigami had already changed into his jersey, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder.

Waving him off, you relaxed slightly in the room now hat there was no one else. You were a little surprised that he had been so willing to let you in, lest stay while both roommates were away.

What if you completely thrashed the place while they were gone? A mischievous smile tugged at your lips, thoughts wondering to all the things you could do that would definitely make kunigami regret letting you in.

Just thought though, you wouldn't betray his trust like that.

Kicking off your shoes, you moved further up the bed to lie down comfortably. Head hitting the soft pillow which smelled heavily of some strawberry shampoo.

"oh? smells nice.." You thought out loud, breathing in the milky scent.

You remember the faint smell of strawberries in Chigiri every time the two of you would spend time together. But none of them compared to this.

His entire side of the dorm smelled that way, it's a lot more pleasant than you imagined. Chigiri and strawberry just made sense in your head.

Flipping onto your side, you put your earpieces on before starting your long scroll on social media all while hugging his blanket close to your face, finding comfort in the familiar scent.

"I mean, what should I do?!" chigiri whisper yelled into his phone, the only source of light in the dark room.

"-but that's not nice," Talking to his roommate on the phone, chigiri would ever so often take a glance at your sleeping figure.

Sometime while waiting for him, you ended up falling asleep in the comfortable bed, not even waking up when chigiri yelled in panic at someone in his bed.

You definitely gave him a fright because after calming down, the first thing he did was check if you were alive and breathing. He even bothered to off all the lights and draw the curtains for you before calling kunigami for help.

Hanging up, Chigiri quietly walked towards you, kneeling down so that he could be eye level with you. Putting a hand on your shoulder, he gently shook you, calling out your name softly so as to not startle you.

"...l/n?" Tapping your hand a few times, you moved just slightly, hugging the blanket closer to your chest.

Still feeling a constant shaking on your shoulder, you groggily opened your eyes a little to come face to face with chigiri.

Reaching your hand out, you gently touched the side of his cheek, catching him off guard. Shocked by your sudden action, Chigiri placed a hand on your wrist, making sure he wasn't hallucinating.

"hm.." You mumbled before giving his cheek a hard push to the side, making him face the other direction.

Chigiri's mouth opened only to close again, he wanted to say something but what could he say? You just momentarily woke up to 'slap' him then went back to sleep!

Feeling the part where you had pushed, chigiri frowned at you in confusion, slowly standing up and walking away.

"So you're going to make me sleep on the floor?" Kunigami asked, perplexed.

"mhm, I need to protect my hair." Chigiri replied, ignoring the disbelief on the other's face.

"but it's my bed.." muttering sadly, he stared at you who was now sleeping with your face buried into the pillow and your leg pulled up in an awkward position.

"Why don't you just sleep next to her? The bed's big enough for the both of you." Chigiri questioned, pointing at the empty spot next to you.

Not even a second passed before he was outright rejecting the idea, the embarrassed blush starting to rise. Despite that, kunigami still gave it some thought. "Why don't you sleep next to her instead? It is your bed."

Unlike his roommate who outright just rejected the idea, chigiri seemed to be genuinely thinking about it.

"hm, I suppose that's fine." Shrugging his shoulder in defeat, the two agreed on the sleeping arrangements for the night.

A few rooms away a stressed rin was anxiously bouncing his leg, looking between his phone and your side of the dorm which had been untouched since the morning.

While waiting for you or your reply, he had went as far as to ask Isagi and Sae if they knew where you were. Only to be met with no and a worried 'why, what happened'
