Happy New Years everyone! Guess who's back with an update after over a year 💀

"Oh yeah, the test was a breeze! I'm pretty sure I'll get a high grade for it." You said, brushing off Anri's apparent surprise.

It was totally easy (only because you cheated).

"I didn't expect you of all people to say that it was easy." Anri sighed, already guessing that you must have cheated or done something worse.

"Shush, I'm a genius." You said, putting a finger to your lip as you picked up some fries to stuff your face with.

It was the day after the exam, you didn't feel like staying in your dorm because your roommate was being oddly grumpier than usual.

Of course Rin was always in a mood, no matter what time of day it was. But he's been a total pain to deal with recently.

And that led you to asking Anri to go get lunch together and maybe window shopping. Anri was quick to agree to your offer, looking forward to spending more time with you outside of school.

Half an hour later, after traveling to the nearby mall and snickering at a few kids along the way, the two of you were finally enjoying a much needed lunch break.

McDonalds.

The go-to fast food restaurant for broke teenagers like yourself.

"By the way, how's it going for your exam preparations?" You asked, wondering about your much smarter friend.

The two of you had some different classes, your exams just so happened to take place slightly earlier than hers.

"Hm.. it's alright." She answered simply. "I definitely won't need to cheat for a passing mark, that's for sure."

"A-ah.. is that so..." you cleared your throat at her last sentence as she gave you a knowing look.

You were having a nice dream.

You were jumping from cloud to cloud with many cotton candy sheep's

You arrived at your house made out of clouds, opening the door with a wave of your hand.

Your sheep's all sat around the large dining table, waiting for you to prepare their lunch.

You opened the kitchen door, walking to the toilet to get food.

Shooting up from your bed, your eyes widened as you awoke from the nice dream. A sigh of relief left your body knowing that you woke up before the dreadful toilet dream could take place.

Kicking your blanket off, you stretched and got out of bed. The time on your phone read 4:58, a good two hours before you actually had to wake up.

Locking the door to the bathroom, you peacefully did your business, almost falling asleep on the toilet as well.

The only reason you hadn't returned to dreamland was no thanks to a loud blaring noise that sounded awfully similar to your roommate's alarm.

Real question was- why did he set an alarm so early?!

Rin slapped his alarm clock, turning off the rings as he woke up with newfound determination and fire in his eyes.

He had a plan for the day ahead.

5:00 - 5:30am - breakfast
5:30 - 7:30am - training
7:30 - 8:30am - study
8:30 - 1:45pm - school
1:45 - 2:00pm - lunch
2:00 - 7:00pm - training
7:00 - 7:30pm - dinner
7:30 - 9:30pm - training

He mentally formulated his well thought out training plan for the day, giving himself an affirmative nod.

His peaceful thoughts only lasted a second more before the bathroom door blasted open loudly. Your face soon came into his view as he sat on his bed with his resting bitch face.

"What." He demanded, wearing his frown.

"Are you okay?" You asked with worry.

His frown deepened at your apparent worry. He didn't understand why you would ask such a thing.

Before he could voice out his question, you had already started speaking.

"Why are you waking up at five in the morning? The sun hasn't risen yet, are you insane?" Your expression was a mixture of frustration and confusion.

"I have to train. Why are you awake?" He turned the question around.

"The toilet." You stated, watching as he got out of bed and walked past you into the said toilet.

Now that you've been awoken by the sound of an alarm clock, there was no way you'd be able to fall back asleep until nighttime.

Sighing to yourself, you went over to your bed and folded your blanket, rearranging all your pillows and soft toys.

"Do you want any breakfast?" You asked from outside the toilet.

Rin was brushing his teeth, the foam dripping down the sides of his mouth.

"Bread."

You gave him a thumbs up at his short answer.

Despite having so many friends who play soccer, you've actually never been to the school's soccer field before.

Which was quite surprising because you've been to the basketball court and you don't know anyone who plays it.

"Amazing, it's the size of a whole ballroom!" You exclaimed, squatting down to touch the fake plastic grass.

"..."

You didn't have to look to know that he was giving you a nasty stink eye right about now. He always seemed to be in a mood so it didn't bother you in the slightest.

"Why are you here." He asked, taking his eyes off you to go to the benches.

"Your alarm woke me up, and I don't have anything to do this early." You shrugged your shoulders, following him as he set his things down and began warming up.

Taking a seat on the bench, you brought your feet up and crossed your legs over one another.

Rin sat not too far away from you, stretching his legs.

Time seemed to drag on forever watching him train. Maybe it was because you had no interest in soccer, or that you were still tired.

Either way, you had nothing better to do so you whipped out your trusty old electronic device... the phone.

You smiled to yourself as a silly thought popped into your head.

Swiping to the camera function, you sneaked a few pictures of Rin as he trained, getting all the funny poses and expressions.

"What are you doing?" His monotone voice snapped you out of your stupor.

He had caught you grinning at your phone mischievously.

"Nothing."
