"Get 'em out, let's go!" Morgan lifted me into his arms and Hotch helped spence up. "Is Spence okay?" I said through closed eyes. "Yeah baby he's fine." Morgan replied. I nodded and leaned my head against his chest.

"The hell was that?" Hotch asked Reid. "He had a bomb." He replied. "You didn't think we needed to know that?" Morgan said loudly. "I told you to go wait downstairs." Reid said. "Yeah well you left the 'bomb' part out"

"Stop stop stop stop stop" Reid said. "What why?!" Morgan asked. "Please stop!" He said. "The house is on fire Reid, let's go!" Hotch said. "Just let me think let me think! He is the fisher king this is his castle , Rebecca's got to be here!" Spence thought aloud.

"Reid there may not be time for a search and Shields can't breathe." Hotch said as I coughed. Reid looked over at me with concern. I held his gaze and his eyes widened in realization. "She's in the basement!" He said.

"Ok here you take Shields out to the paramedics and give me the key." Morgan said, passing me over to Spencer. I buried my face into his neck and he ran me out of the house.

"She can't breathe and her eyes are red." Spence told the paramedics who immediately put an oxygen mask on me. He turned to run back towards the house but I grabbed his hand. He turned back to me and I gave him a pleading look. He sat down next to me.

We watched as the rest of the team emerged from the burning building. I laid my head on Spence's shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Hotch asked, walking up to me. I ripped the oxygen mask off. "Takes a lot more than a small explosion to get me down." I winked. "Good to hear."

"Well the night is still young, I say we hit the club." Morgan suggested. "oh no. I don't club." Reid said. "loosen up boy wonder. It'll be fun." I said, nudging him softly with my elbow. He looked at me. "No."

The doorbell rang as McKenna was finishing up her makeup. "That must be Spence." I said, going over to my door. "You're not Spencer." I said, looking at JJ. I looked down at the dress she was holding. "oh hell no" I said to her. "I like my outfit thank you very much." I said, referring to my plaid button up, skinny jeans and converse.

She shook her head. "Not appropriate for the club." I groaned. "No stripper dress." I said.

"Not a stripper dress!" She called, walking into my living room. McKenna walked out of the bathroom. "This is my best friend McKenna. She works in the Crisis Management Unit." I introduced. "McKenna this is Jennifer Jareau, but we call her JJ. Also in the BAU with me." They shook hands.

"Now," JJ turned to me and held out a black long sleeved dress, form fitted, that exposed my shoulders and looked as if it came to about mid thigh. (On my polyvore// whitnijohns)

I glared at her. "no."

"Coffee for a week." She bribed. I raised an eyebrow. She sighed. "A month." I smiled and took the dress. I went into the bathroom and slipped it on, along with the heels she gave me. I went to where I kept my jewelry and grabbed a diamond accent necklace.

I slowly walked out and JJ's eyes lit up. "You're gonna have the guys drooling."

"Hey! You girls look amazing." Morgan complimented as we walked up to their table. Hotch and Gideon waved and Spencer turned around in the booth to face us. When his eyes landed on me his jaw dropped. I smiled and sat down next to him in the booth.

"You actually came out! Did JJ bribe you with coffee too?" He nodded. I laughed and took a sip of his beer. "What are you sitting down for?! Lets dance!" Morgan came over and helped me up. I rolled my eyes but went over to dance with him anyways.

"Pretty boy can't take his eyes off you." Morgan said in my ear. I glanced over and saw his eyes on us. He turned red and looked away. I could feel myself blushing too.

I looked back over at Morgan and rolled my eyes. We danced for a little while and I noticed a bunch of girls starting to hang on Morgan. I laughed and made my way over to the bar.

"A beer please." I ordered. "Can I buy you a drink, pretty lady?" some guy came up to me and stood way too close. "I think i'm financially stable enough to buy my own drink, thanks." I said, without giving him so much as a glance.

"Ooh, sassy, I like it." He leaned closer and I could smell the alcohol on his breath. "Please go away." I leaned away from him. "Not til' I get your number." He said. "I'm good." I replied. "It wasn't a suggest-"

"Is there a problem here." I heard Spence cut in. "Back off prick, I've called this one." The guy responded. "Actually I think this lady is taken." Spence replied, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me into him. I smirked. The guy scoffed and walked away.

"You are a lifesaver." I said, looking up at Spence. He smiled. "No problem." I grabbed my beer and we went over to the table and sat back down. Gideon was in the middle of a story about the time he knocked an unsub out with a frying pan. I looked around, everybody was laughing and just plain enjoying themselves. "I escaped the women!" Morgan slurred, running up to us and collapsing in my lap. We laughed.

"Alone, we can do so little. Together we can do so much."
