The Blues

"Uh-... what?" John was a taken back from James's sudden comments and confrontation about the matter. He has taken a step back, glaring at James as if he was the one being attacked and offended.

James was right however.

John had nothing but sadistic intentions, purposely trying to get under Aiden's skin. Aiden acted like he was all high and mighty, not giving him the attention and emotions that John wanted. Him and his wife tried hard to go out do their way to hurt Aiden emotionally because he was trans, if gave John weird satisfaction seeing Aiden uncomfortable with tears in his eyes.

Because of johns views, political beliefs, and his hatred towards transgender and gay people, he was constantly targeting Aiden. He purposely invited Aiden to his family and neighbor cook outs, get togethers and parties, but Aiden never showed. John actually hadn't seen Aiden's face in a full 6 months, so seeing Aiden on TV, on that reality show "Disventure Camp" only made him grit his teeth together.

The only time Aiden trusted, and gave him the time of day was when he first moved in this crummy apartment. He was freshly 18, just moved away from his parents, whom were also transphobic. They didn't support him, and instead opted to kick him out for not obeying their beliefs.

Aiden was quiet, shy, he hadn't even started testosterone yet. When John first laid on him, he thought Aiden was a girl. Seeing Aiden's shy face, as he carried all his luggage in, made John want to pounce on him like Aiden was a deer in headlights. He invited him to a cookout the following week, that would be the first and last time that Aiden would actually show. As the whole time the men looked at him like he was strange, or like he was eye candy. The cherry on top was here everyone there made homophobic jokes and comments. Aiden chose to leave early, not showing his face there again.

He tried getting close to Aiden, even though he had a wife, but after Aiden's voice started changing, getting deeper, along with his appearance becoming less and less feminine, pissed John off.

Aiden was aware of johns pedophilic manners, so he was always so uncomfortable around him, trying his best to ignore and avoid him. He knew everyone at the apartment would hate him for transitioning, but it was his only way of being himself. Aiden was fine dealing with the nasty glances and comments he would get.

"Stop acting fucking innocent. What do you want from us?" James asked more sternly, now in the doorway, blocking all the way, so that Aiden would be safely inside.

"I-" John stuttered. He wasn't used to someone actually confronting him about his wrong doings. James was a fire not meant to be played with.

"Do you know who you're talking like that too, punk." John spat out, now standing up straight to try to grain control of this whole situation.

"Some old ass hag who doesn't know his place?" James stated, now getting extremely close to johns face. It made James laugh and smile seeing johns now scared and intimidated expression. James was obviously way taller and bigger than John, it would only take a minute for him to crush him under his hand.

But it was still funny witnessing John trying to pretend as if he wasn't.

"Excuse me? I have Aiden and your queer ass kicked out of This place!" John said smugly. "No one wants your kind here!" He added.

It was only pissing James off more.

At this point, they started to gain attention. Mostly from there now yelling and shouting at each other. Following neighbor peaked out there down, and down the hallway towards them. All of them were away that James was Aiden's significant other. It was probably the most entertaining and adrenaline rush these old folks have had in a while. Most of them were too scared to even interrupt or intervene.
