"Is she really...", Professor Corvino projected his imploring eyes on Professor Adriana.

She placed her beret on the desk with a nod,"Indeed she is."

"When are we informing Headmaster Ervin?"

"When he returns from his trip."

"Professor Adriana, don't you think admitting Haerin into the school will result in complicating  things in the school.",his forehead formed a crease,"No student seem happy with the arrival of a mortal here. What if they hurt her?"

She traced her index finger over the leather sofa, eventually, slipping into it,"Hurt? We shall not worry about it. Because she knows how to",her lips curled to form a smile,"heal."

Streams of tears rolled down Haerin's cheeks.

She wished to go home. Her parents must be so worried. Why would she have to study here? What about her actual world? She didn't have any spare clothes, neither did she have any one with whom she was acquainted with.

Her two alloted room mates  exchanged glances.

Luna took off her headsets, sitting next to her,"What is it?"

She sobbed,"I want to go back."

"The door to mortal world has vanished. Didn't you hear the Professor?"

Haerin couldn't stop her tears from flowing.

"Will you please shut your mouth? I am studying here.",Clara heaved a forceful sigh, trying to concentrate on her book.

Luna massaged her temples, returning to her bed.

Haerin lowered her gaze.

No one liked her here. It was obvious, since she was the odd one out. Everyone had special powers here, except her; she was just a mere mortal.

Rising on her feet, she walked out from her room.

How was she supposed to survive here?

She hastily wiped out her tears, walking into the common dorm room causing her to accidentally bump into a boy of tall stature.

"I am sorry.",she apologised.

"It's fine.",he flashed a smile,"I have normalised everyone crying over my beauty."

Haerin stared at him blankly. He really did seem like a beautifully carved statue. However, she was stunned by his confidence.

"Oh you want to know my name?",he brushed his hair back,"Everyone knows me here though but since you are new, I'll let you know that my name is Sunghoon."

He grinned, showing off his pointed fangs.

He must be a vampire.
