You walked the streets of Yokohama with the close eyed detective, he insisted you come with him to bakeries so you both eat as much as you wanted. You thought the idea sounded delicious so you came along, He was carrying a paper bag that held tons of candies. You enjoyed bonding with your other co-workers since you never really bonded with the other hashiras besides Iguro and a few others.
"It's Friday today." Ranpo said as he pulled the lollipop wrapper of the candy and then plopping it in his mouth. You glanced at him with a confused look, wondering what he means. "Oh, is that so!" You replied as you walked happily, this had caused the close eyed detective to frown. "Where are those sakura mochi's you said you'd give me?" You halted in your steps, remembering the promise.
"Whaaat? Hehe..When did i promise you that?" You giggled anxiously as you knew he'd see through your lie, he crossed his arms and turned to look away from you. "You forgot." You felt guilty for not fulfilling your promise to the close-eyed detective. "Ah..I'm so sorry Ranpo-kun!" You apologized as you clapped both your hands together. "I don't forgive you! I was waiting for those for a whole week."
The childish man exclaimed with furrowed eyebrows, arms still crossed. "I'll make you double the batch! Please don't be mad at me." You shook the male in hopes for him to give in, but to your bad luck he didn't budge. "Nope." Popping the 'p' sound, he looked the other way. "I'll make you triple the batch!" You felt bad for forgetting it, but this had caught Ranpo's attention.
"Tripel? Hm, Okay. Tripel it is." Ranpo had finally gave in, he opened his mouth but the lollipop fell out of it. Glancing down at it with a frown, he shoved his hand back into the paper bag and opened up another. "You made my lollipop fall." You turned to him, a shock expression on your face, and you were also confused. "But..I didn't do anything.." You say as you frowned, bringing both your hands into a small fist and frowning, he pointed his lollipop at you accusingly. "Are you saying I'm wrong?" He wore a smirk, he knew you'd admit defeat.
"No.." You said defeatedly as you could see him grinning, amused how easily you give up. "Didn't think so! Now, let's go to the agency." You nodded and walked beside Ranpo, he was looking at the road with both hands on his hips, checking incase cars were coming.
