Yn's POV
I can't believe this is happening. Never in the world had I thought I'd be getting married so early. I met Florence less than a year ago, and now she's asking to marry me. I mean, I love her. I do, but sometimes I still think I'm in some fairy tale that, sooner or later, someone it's going to wake me up and tell me it's all just a dream.

Blinking away my tears, making sure I'm not dreaming, "A-are you sure?"

Florence huffs and resists a smile growing on her face, "I've never been so sure of anything in my life, Yn. Marry me, pleaseeee?" she pouts and gives me her best puppy dog eyes, knowing I'm a sucker for that.

Rolling my eyes in tears, I nod. "Yes." Florence's eyes widen, and I take my trembling hands in hers with her trembling hands to slip on the engagement ring.

We look into each other eyes before Florence grabs my face to press her lips to mine for a bruising kiss. Our friends cheer at the side, clapping and congratulating us as we hug each other close, and Florence thanking them for their help.

After the successful proposal/engagement dinner, let's say we didn't get much sleep that night. The following day I woke to find Flo raised on one elbow, watching me, smiling, as I found my way back into consciousness. We kissed deeply, the stale scent of our arousal heavy in the air and our skin.

We were both ravenously hungry, so we reluctantly tore ourselves out of bed and walked down to the cafe near my apartment, where we feasted the most enormous breakfast I'd ever eaten. We chatted endlessly about all sorts of things, murmured how much we loved each other, held hands, talked about how lucky we were that Scarlett had introduced us, and never mentioned the elephant in the room.

It was there. We both knew it like something just out of sight that could only be glimpsed out of the corner of your eye, something that you could almost ignore as long as you didn't manage to focus on correctly.

Which was what would happen if Flo left for LA to film? I know she won't mind traveling to and fro, but there would still be months I can't see her when she films. To be honest, I've no idea how Scarlett did it. I don't even want to be a second away from her. Call me clingy, but I love my girl- my fiancé.

Though we didn't have much time for our thought to wander before I had to head to work, we left it as it was until Flo couldn't come to fetch me from work due to her going for some interviews, so I went home alone. I met Naomi, who was waiting in the lobby of my apartment smoking.

I looked around at the floor and realized she had been smoking here for a while now with all the cigarette butts on the floor. In my impression, Naomi has always taken care of her image very strictly, but that night, the Naomi I saw was haggard and decadent.

She came forward and suddenly grabbed my wrist. Her bloodshot eyes were fixed on the diamond ring on my ring finger. "You are engaged to her?" There was a slight look of shock in her dark brown eyes.

"Yes."

She suddenly went crazy, and she tried to take off my ring. I pushed her away and took a few steps back. "Naomi Scott, look at what you've become!"

But she stared at the ring on my finger angrily, "You have only been with her for how long? How can you agree to marry her? The person you have liked for the past years is me, and the person you want to marry should be me too!"

Naomi walked towards me while talking, as if in a daze. In desperation, I raised my hand and slapped her hard, and the ring on my hand left a scratch on her face. Although the scratches were shallow, blood still oozed out, but in any case, that slap woke her up a bit.

Looking at me with tears in her eyes, Naomi's voice cracked. "What must I do to get you back to me?"

"Naomi Scott, you have to face the reality. We can't go back, no matter what you do. I don't like you anymore." I snapped.
