Asia's POV

THERE I SAT IN THE HUGE ARENA. It was like my senses constantly got sharper every time I went here- though it was nothing new to me, I never got used to the environment of this place as I peered below the ongoing volleyball match.

It was now Cuba VS Japan, they were playing in the second set, japan having won the first and it was 22-16 with Japan in the lead. Before I even knew it, time flew by and we were already on the third set as Nippon had won the second set once again.

It was now the third set finally and this time Cuba was in the lead: 20-19. I pulled out my camera for the third time and started taking pictures of the players.

Being an intern for a well-known sports news company was somewhat demanding at times to the point that I barely got any sleep when I first started but it was all worth it as the pay (though I was still an intern) was pretty generous- not to mention I got to see fine men play volleyball frequently let alone taking photos and interview them, and if that wasn't compensation enough for the loss of my sleep then I don't know what else is.

But most importantly- I got to see him. I subtly paused as Ran Takahashi came into the view of my camera, accidentally blocking Yuji Nishida whom I was taking a shot of previously.

Suddenly, I froze- not because I saw him though that played a factor but because he had made eye contact with my camera lens almost seeming as if he was looking at me dead in the eyes with looks that could kill.

I stayed there, and there only glued to my seat in the front row where all the other journalists and photographers were as he dribbled the ball one or thrice before he served- still staring at the camera. Somehow, I had plucked up the courage to press the button of my camera when he was staring previously and surely enough I had gotten a few shots of him looking right at the camera.

Luck must've been on my side today, I thought looking through my camera, smiling at the great shots I got of the players.

As the match progressed- I took a short break from taking pictures as I was sure enough to have had more than enough pictures that I was already satisfied with.

I was starting to feel a bit hot so I decided to take my mask off for a while...
