CRASH!!

"ACHOO!" It seemed that I had a cold.

Please not today, oh my god...

I checked the time on my phone. Crap, I had to be there an hour early but it felt impossible to move without my head or my body hurting.

Why today out of all the times that I could've gotten a killer fever, or rather, why in the middle of the volleyball season!?

After I had managed to finally pull myself together and walk to my closet like a little worm, I finally got dressed and since making breakfast would take me awhile considering the state that I was in, I just hurried to the train station instead.

And as I finally remembered what I was supposed to do this early in the morning, I dreaded and internally sobbed inside the train as I looked at my schedule.

The match started at 12/1 am/pm the time I had to be there was 8 am, an hour earlier than my usual time that I had to be there since I had to interview some of the players from the boys' volleyball team.

Then after that at 10 am we had to check all our other equipment in case any were broken from the previous day and that was probably all. then we just had to wait until the match starts and stay till the end to interview some of the players again.

I was still in deep thought about how I would survive the whole day with this terrible fever until my phone started ringing.

My Grandmother 👵🏻

accept call?

yes                     no

I snickered at the nickname, accepting the call and almost immediately regretting it as I was met with an earful scolding from Midori.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU SIA?" Midori started.

"I-" I tried to start but once again I was cut off by her loud reprimanding.

"DON'T I ME!! you know this isn't really like you being late and all, I can't believe you, we had an agreement since yesterday that you'd be exactly on time- or even earlier." She rambled on until I finally got the chance to speak.

"Midori- Have the guys even arrived yet?" I asked, patiently waiting.

"Uh- no! But still what if they have already that's not an excuse for your tardines-"
