IT HAD BEEN EXACTLY AROUND MIDNIGHT when I had finally arrived at the convenience store.
I had sweat so much biking to get here, I had decided to go all out and buy plenty of food for my hard work!
10 minutes later...
I didn't think that I would spend so much time picking out my snacks like it was the most important decision of my life.
for the past ten minutes that I have been looking around in this store I had somehow managed to fill up my basket with almost one of each snack there is in existence this store, even my hand was getting a little sore due to the weight of the basket.
I passed by a shelf when suddenly, something caught my eye. It was sparkling and although it was still in its packaging, I could practically taste it in my imagination, the coffee jelly.
Thank god there was one left for me, there sure is someone from above looking out for me!
I had reached out to get it when suddenly my hand came in contact with another's.
'?!!!' I eternally screamed.
As I looked at the culprit I froze as they simply had the same idea to look back at me.
their face seemed familiar so I spent the past few seconds pondering and thinking about where I had seen him until I realized who they were, my eyes widened so I looked elsewhere in embarrassment.
This scenario felt a little familiar...
"Oh- I'm sorry I didn't realize that you were already reaching out for it as well, go ahead you can have it!" The man whom I knew to be Ran Takahashi spoke in a flustered manner but not before he had given me the most angelic smile that I'd ever seen in my whole existence as a human being.
"O-Oh! No way, it's okay! you can have it I have more than enough snacks as you can see, I'd feel pretty greedy if I took this one from someone who was already reaching out first for it..."
I said full of shame as I returned his smiled back, slowly backing away and trying to escape the scene as I had already felt embarrassed enough and was afraid of what unhinged action I might accidentally do next.
"Aah- hold on - it's really fine you can have it- I'm not that hungry-" Ran replied once again this time, mirroring my action and backing away from the jelly as well.

'why can't he just take it!?" 'why can't she just take it!?'
