"Fuck!" Detective Aleshinloye is frantic, she begins to call for help.
The Nigerian Police is helpless as it is, and they do not intend to pull it off for much longer. All the CCTV footage of the school has been accessed, we can see how the Children - and their teachers- are been kept in their assembly hall, I will assume.
Parents, according to the journalist's footage, are frantic outside, a riot has begin between parents and the police mobilizing the areas.
Every single police stations are covered with parents, rioters and journalist. We, on the other hand, are not known to public, so we are safe from all the harassments.
Our first guess is the only person that can begin a riot, and a mass kidnap like this for a hardened criminal like Emeka, can be no other than, Sting, and his other criminal friend, Timi.
Shameless criminal.
We can't hear what his going on with the kids but we can see how distressed they have become. What can be expected anyway, when they see big guns pointed to their heads? They know it is reality too, they might not get to see their parents again.
Everything depends on the police now, I try researching crime like this, it has never happened. We decide to make a coy move, only the IG of police, steps in when matters gets serious.
The IG's call with Detective Aleshinloye made tenser and tenser by the day, She manages to finally convince him that Target is going to step in and only then did the IG allows any type of stunt.
It wasn't like those people cared, anyway.
Bomb has been planted in various areas of the school, with a jet on their jet pad, at the roof top of the school. Any slight mistake, the Children, their teachers and even goons that are not useful enough to escape through the jet will all die in the school today.
I don't know which one is bad between Chibok girls kidnap or the instant death they about to serve the kids.
Something strange actually happens, a little boy, that seems about five is tossed forward, from the midst if the crowd. A calm looking goon takes hold of him, and begins to ask him things. He nods occasionally or shake his head vigorously, to the answers he is probably being asked.
Everyone holds their breath to know what will be the fate of the beautiful looking, little boy. To everyone's surprise, the man lifts him into his arm, the boy his quivering like a leaf.
Something just isn't adding up there. Someone badges in, a man standing strong, flank by a beautiful girl like a boy, dressed in what I will call a fighting suit. I wonder if I am seeing an American movie.
Then she is followed by...
My jaw drops, I haven't seen him in years; my eyes slowly fills with water, as I think about only one thing, what the hell is he doing here?
He looks different and fit and he is also dressed in fighting suit.
It take all I have to remain sitting, without jumping into his arm and the same time slap the hell out of him.
"Target, Sebastian, Lola. Welcome."
They reply with identical nod.
"I've seen what happened, we have stabilized our agents there, they will get to working. Let the police force keep distracting them. I will tell you, this is going to be risky, and I can't guarantee you all the Children's life."
"Target, do it!"
"You know you can catch him again." Target says.
"Dad, what guarantee have they given us that even if we let the criminals out, the children still wouldn't be killed." Lola says.
Her father smiles, "Sebastian, Lola, do your thing."
They leave, Sebastian doesn't seem to notice me.
"I will get my hacker to do the work, the kids are going to the school." Target says.
My stomach churns, "Did Sebastian's father just put him in arms way?"
Their father turns, he makes his way to the door, but stops short in front of me, "You are the new one, the Con artist. You will join them too. We need your brain."
I raise my head to look at Detective Aleshinloye behind him, she gives me a subtle nod.
I stand up, with my heart beating in my mouth -still in my track suit- and follow him to where Lola and Sebastian are waiting.
He hit the van as soon as I am sitted and off we go.
