"Yeah, like..." Jen crossed her legs a little, chewing more of her bubblegum, blowing a bubble. "which one's your apartment?" Jen was doing what others would say is a stereotypical 'bimbo voice' as she talked.

Jen didn't particularly like contributing to the negative bimbo stereotype but in this case she's doing the voice for a particular reason...she needs some more money tonight.

A voice is heard through Jen's cellphone as she held it up to her foxy ear filled with fluff.

"Okay...yeah," Jen rolled her eyes at her own exaggerated voice. "I'll like, totally be there."

After hanging up, Jen looks around the street, wondering when Max was going to return. Jen knew that Bough Dough likes to take his time sometimes when he brings one of them over for his 'favors', but the time can heavily vary so it could be ages before Max comes back.

Jamie comes outside to join Jen in standing around, mostly for company.

"Do you know when Max will be back?" Jen asked after noticing Jamie's presence, also grateful to stop doing that ridiculous voice from earlier.

Jamie stares out onto the dark street beyond, looking back and forth the street like Jen did earlier.

"Uhm...I don't know yet, from the way Bough dough was talking earlier, it could be a while..."

"Figures," Jen lets out a deep sigh, blowing another large bubble. "I hope things aren't too rough for him..."

"Yeah..." Jamie muttered, looking down at the floor beyond, almost expressionless.

Jen noticed Jamie's more quiet demeanor and walked on over to wrap an arm around her shoulder, attempting to comfort her.

"I'll make sure he's okay, okay?" Jen tried to reassure, rubbing Jamie's shoulder a little.

Jamie let out a little breath and rested her head on Jen's shoulder, feeling just a little bit better from the sentiment.

"Okay..." Jamie closed her eyes as she enveloped Jen in a gentle hug. "thanks, Jen..."

Jen felt her heart skip a beat from being confronted with Jamie's vulnerability. Initially taken aback, she eased into the hug and wrapped her arms around Jamie in turn.

"Of course..."

Both comforted each other through the hug for a while, which they felt was needed.

After some time, Jen broke away from the hug, clearing her throat.

"I'll see you later, I gotta go over to a guy's apartment soon."

"Right, right..." Jamie said, taking out her cell phone. "I'll be in my own apartment, I hope things go well Jen."

Jen continued standing facing the empty streets lit up only by the streetlights as Jamie disappeared into the distance.

Jen was accompanied only by her thoughts now. Dani had gone home already, not wanting to do much tonight considering what had happened the other night.

Jen and the others hadn't really processed what had happened very much...Bough Dough had asked for favors as usual but asked for increasingly more invasive and uncomfortable things, not being able to decline because of his powerful position as their boss and as a person in general.

She wanted so badly for things to change but didn't know what she could do or how. She just knew that she was miserable having to practically bow down to such a horrible person and knew her friends felt the same way.

The vixen took a deep breath and started making her way to the man's apartment she had mentioned earlier, only the buzzing of streetlights and her breathing being audible.
