Chapter 3: Friend's Day

The next day was a whirlwind. The four friends were back together once again, including Max who arrived late at night (after Jen) while everyone was sleeping.

Everyone was quiet again in the morning upon meeting up in Jamie's apartment, not really talking about their nights very much, especially Max who had to go with Bough Dough yesterday.

Jamie's the one who broke the silence, usually the optimistic one but also being affected by her friends' quiet.

"I got some new lipstick if you girls wanted to try it out together?" Jamie asked innocently as she smiled a little, hoping to do something fun.

"Uhm...sure."

"Yeah."

"Let's see, yeah."

Jamie's smile grew as everyone moved around so that they were all sitting in the floor supported by many pink fluffy pillows belonging to her.

"Ooh, this place needs some music..." Jamie placed her cellphone and connected it with a wireless speaker to play some bimbocore music (hyperpop, electro pop, electronic with a bimbo context, etcetera).

Jamie started applying the new lipstick she got on Dani, and the combination of the music and intimate nature of applying makeup seemed to start improving everyone's mood, if only a little.

"O-m-g you guys, I just remembered..." everyone looked at Jamie as she exclaimed, her more high-pitched voice making her sound cute. "did you all hear about that new uhm...bimbo artist? Music artist?"

Everyone looked at each other and then back at Jamie.

"Uhm...I don't think so...well, that depends...who are you talking about?" Max asked.

"Like...I think her name is Krystal Kelly? Omg, she's like...so pretty," Jamie exclaims while smiling wide, "I always love her cute tops, and her music is always so good!"

Jamie's smile starts becoming a bit infectious as Dani can already feel herself feeling warmer inside just being near her, especially from having makeup applied to her so delicately.

"I...I always wondered what it would be like to wear cute tops like her..." Dani smiled a little.

Dani couldn't really wear the same clothes as a humanoid could since there aren't really many SFAs in the world. Whatever clothes Dani would want to get would either have to be tailor-made for her which would be more expensive than regular clothes. This made Dani pretty upset but Jamie always brightened the day a little, even offering at times to pay for custom-made clothes for Dani...though Dani would always refuse from not wanting to be a burden, wanting Jamie to save her money for herself.

Jamie gently applied the rest of the new lipstick onto Dani's plump lips, with Jamie cheering in excitement from the new look.

"Aaaaaah you look so cute!"

"R-Really? T-thank you Jamie..." Dani blushes a little, smiling shyly.

Jamie continues hyping up Dani before Max slowly gets up to sit near Jamie on the floor, supported by some of Jamie's cute fluffy pillows.

"...Could I get the uhm...new lipstick?"

Jamie gasped a little in response. It was so surprising and unexpected to hear Max request to be applied lipstick since Max doesn't really like wearing lipstick or much makeup usually.

"Oh, of course! A bit of lipstick for my boy..." Jamie said lovingly as she started applying lipstick onto her boyfriend.

Max and Jamie had been together for a while now, meeting through working at the night club. Max had been (and still is) particularly vulnerable because of his reasons for working at the club. Max is a trans man but can't afford gender affirming surgeries, hoping to take advantage of his body type to raise money via the night club job. What Max didn't count on was his boss being a massive jerk.
