"Please stop.."

Silence. That's all there was for the start of the walk. But.. that was only the start.

"Yo.. Poem.." spoke Kass suddenly. Poem stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"Yes?"

"I'm bored.. entertain your princess."

Poem snickered at the comment. "You're funny, however, I'm a knight, your highness. Not a jester." Poem replied while in a bowing
pose , joking around. Kass smiled from the gesture and the both kept walking. But alas Kass got bored again. But she decided to start with a new approach.

"Salamander.. I have a question"
Poem sighed and looked over again.

"Yeah?"

"Why is yo family's entire legacy like.. amazing naturally? Well.. from what I hear at least."
Poem took a moment to think about the question.

"Well.. it's not really naturally. Like for example, I was taught the basics on how to use a sword by my dad. I just caught on afterwards," replied Poem. Suddenly, Kass got another idea from the response.

"Your dad.. I ain't hear about him since I was.. I'on know.. a toddler. Somethin' happened to him?" Kass questioned. The scene suddenly got more tense. Poem looked away and continued walking without a word. Kass got confused. "Is she good?.." She pondered. "Yo what happene—"

"Be quiet." Poem replied solemnly. "Your mother, we haven't heard of either since we were toddlers. So what's so important about my father to the point you have to keep persisting to tell me about him!? I'm only here to fucking protect you because you can't protect yourself you imbecile!"

Kass winced at the sudden lash out. She had never seen Poem so.. irritated. Kass didn't think she had struck a nerve. She was only curious.

"Chill bro.. It was only a question. You tweakin'," Kass said, her laid back tone remained unchanged. She looked at Poem's icy expression and tried to change the atmosphere.

"Ay, we still homies right, dawg?" She asked. Kass placed her hand on Poem's shoulder—

SMACK!

Kass' hand suddenly flew off of Poem's shoulder.   She staggered back and looked at her hand. Poem didn't even turn to look back at Kass but she could tell that icy expression still remained on her face.

"We're at the castle. You can leave now."

And with that, Poem left without another word. Kass looked over at her leaving and held her hand over her heart. "Shit.. thas my bad.."
Poem proceeded to enter the castle from the back and headed to the main place where Kinjari stood, waiting for the news. With her head still down, she then spilt all what happened.

"While we were at a club she's a DJ at, your daughter got kidnapped. But I got her back, she should be in her room by now. Nothing else really happened after that."

"Very well then. Thanks for checking out on her."

"No problem.."
Poem walked away after that and headed home. Once she arrived she got interrupted by her mother.

"Poem how'd it go?"
Poem smiled and looked at her mother cheerfully.

"Oh just fine! I only had to fight some guys and that was it! Y'know she's one of the most important figures, so something was bound to happen! I'm gonna go bed for tomorrow!"

"That's nice.. I'm so proud of you Poem. Your father would've been proud too."

"Mhm!! I know!" Something suddenly popped in Poem's mind. "Mom.. can I use the computer before I sleep? I want to search up something before I go to bed."

"Of course, but remember, not too long."

"Yeah I know, goodnight mom, love you!"
Poem proceeded to head to her room and pulled out an old rusty computer.
