"Icepaw, where are the herbs?" Greymuzzle asked as I walked into the medicane den. "I coulnd't find any." I lied. He sighed and nodded. "Well then, we need to get groups of herbs ready for the battle." He mewed grabbing a stack of cobwebs.

"What battle?" I asked pushing the poppy seeds into a pile. "Rainstar and has been having some trouble with Emberclan. So she is going to show them what happens when they mess with Stormclan. Remember not to fight, understand." He mewed. I nodded my head.

"Stormclan, are you ready to beat some mouse-brained fools?!" Rainstar called from the great boulder. Yowls of excitment broke out through the clearing. "Well then, its time to show them whose boss!" She called. She leapt off the boulder and charged through the camp entrance, with her warriors on her heels.

"Grab the cobwebs." Greymuzzle mewed from behind me.

We ran after them, our jaws full of precious herbs. Screeching erupted in front of us. greymuzzle pointed to a shelterd area. We set the herbs down and waited for a patient.

Darkpaw limped in. "Rainstar is dead." He mummered. Greymuzzle's eyes light up with fear and fury. "That was her last life." He mewed. He pulled Darkpaw close to him and began treating him.

Curiousty got the best of me. I snuck out of the sheltered area into the battle.

I saw cats fighting everywhere. Snarls and claws, there was grace in their movements.

Someone bowled into my side, taking my breath away. I looked at my enemy. A brown tom with green eyes and black spots.

Fear clawed at my stomach as I realized I wasn't suppost to be fighting. My first instinct was to attack back.

I raked my claws across his side. He hissed and raked his claws down my stomach. I yowled in agony as he continued. My claws itched to fight back but I didn't know how. I kicked him off. He fell back a few paw-steps but not by much. It just angered him more. He charged at me and leapt at my throat. I ducked, he only missed me by a mousetail. He spun around quickly and grabbed my tail. He pulled me back and flipped me over. He clawed at my stomach. Kill him.. My instincts told me. Kill him.. They continued. I decided to agree with them. I lifted my paw and sliced them across his throat. Scarlet blood dripped out as he fell the ground. He gasped for air and slowly closed his eyes to which they would never open again.

"Icepaw!" Some screeched from behind me.

The pic above is of the cat that Icepaw killed. His name was Hackclaw.
