Scarlet's POV~

Most nights I can remember my dreams. Last night, my dream seems to be a little fuzzy to me. I fight to keep my eyes close, just to continue laying down and to try to remember better. All I can seem to keep in grasp of my fingertips is a man holding my hand guiding me down a sidewalk and that I'm laughing. Chris stirs next to me and I can sense his hand coming up to tap me on the shoulder. My eyes flutter open to see his tired face, still managing to hold a soft smile.

"Good morning," he says, his voice groggy.

"Hm, good morning," I murmur. My voice is light and tiny thanks to me still be tired. Chris takes notice of this and chuckles.

    "Sleep well, considering?"

   "Considering what?" I smile.

"You shared a bunk with a giant and someone you just met no less," Chris jests.

My smile gets bigger, "I slept fine, thank you. You don't hog much in your sleep, I appreciated it." My laugh slips out and he laughs with me before trying to stretch out his legs. His leg slips over mine for a moment before he scrunches back in. I almost frown, how the hell has he managed to sleep in a bunk all these years? "Did you sleep well considering?" I ask, somewhat jokingly.

"I actually slept fine, too," He replies.

"Good."

Chris and I climb out of his bunk one by one shortly afterwards, bumping into Vinny and Justin. I grab my duffel bag and start searching for some clothes for the day while Chris joins the guys in the front of the bus. My hands finally grab hold of what I'm looking for and I drift into the bathroom to change. My motions are slow, still processing that I'm up and moving for the day. My hands smooth out my black silk button up and I roll up the sleeves. The top buttons are left unclapsed, allowing the lace bralette to peek, but not too much. I fidget with my black jeans and boots, smiling fondly at them. They're cute dress-like shoes with a witchy flair gifted to me by Jinxx.

"Alright," I sigh to myself. The mornings are typically cruel to me and although I slept well, my energy is nonexistent for now. I quickly do a simple black and purple eyeshadow look, an ombré effect with eyeliner and dot my face with concealer before leaving the bathroom. Before I head up to the guys I swipe my glasses from my bag, too lazy to take the couple of minutes to put my contacts in. As I place my glasses on, I walk into the front to see the guys waiting ever so patiently. Well, except for Vinny.

"I'm starvinggg," Vinny groans. "You couldn't hurry up?"

I chuckle before replying, "I didn't realize we were all going out." Rick shrugs and I realize Chris is busy on his phone fiddling with something. By the time Rick speaks up, Chris looks up to me and I notice a flicker in his eyes. Just for a moment.

"Don't worry about it, CC found a place to eat and told Vinny everyone is meeting up for breakfast in a few minutes. As long as you're ready we can head out," Rick says.

"Let's head out then," I smile, Vinny links arms with me and starts hauling me out of the bus with him and I can't help but laugh as he takes long strides.

"Wait up lovebirds!" Ryan calls out, amusement clear in his voice. I hear Rick and Justin laughing from behind us and I look back at them. I simply smile and Chris meets my gaze with a small smirk.

Once we make it to a cute mom and pop breakfast joint, Vinny let's go of my arm and swings the door right open.

"After you," Vinny bows. I roll my eyes and smile as I walk inside. Places like this make me feel at home, I can't get this back in L.A. A sigh escapes from me and I look around to see if I can spot anyone yet. Sure enough, I spot Spencer and Andy talking at a large booth. CC, Lonny, and Jake are walking over to them as well as Jeremy V and Nikki. Shit, this is going to be a tight fit for everyone, I think to myself. I feel an arm sneak around my shoulder and turn to see Jeremy. With a big smile I give him a hug, his hugs are always the best.
