Scarlet's POV~
My breath hitches in my throat after I follow Chris into the bunk. He turns around with a surprised look on his face.
"Yeah?" He replies quietly. Chris' eyes narrow just a bit, concern clouding them.
"I. . I was wondering if you knew if something was up with Vinny today? He's been oddly quiet all day with me until now." Chris has a strange look on his face before getting a thoughtful look, did he think I was going to talk about something else?
"Um no, as far as I know," Chris replies. He turns back to his bunk, clearly looking for something.
"Did you want to go out for coffee tomorrow morning?" I ask, questioning why I chose now to ask. Chris pauses for a moment, before pulling out a pair of black joggers and turning to me.
"Sure," He smiles. "Any reason?"
"Nope, other than getting to know you more," I smile. "I spend a lot of time with Ryan and Ricky after shows along with the other bands and you see that Vinny and Justin hog me once we're on the bus. Mornings can be for us?"
Chris looks down at his joggers and looks up again, his smile coming back. "That sounds nice, but did Spencer put you up to this?" Spencer?
"What do you mean?" I ask, raising a brow. Did Spencer talk to Chris?
"Never mind," He chuckles. I shake my head, whatever. I reach beside him for my bag and dig out my misfits shirt again and joggers. By the time I grab them, he disappears into the bathroom. My hands reach for the curtain and I peek to see the guys are either busy on their phones or playing a game. Perfect. My fingers nimbly unbutton my shirt and I toss on the misfits one before taking off my pants. Click. I look up and see the bathroom door opening and I toss myself into Chris' bunk, my joggers in my hands. "Scar?" I hear steps towards the bunk and he pauses. My hands fidget, trying to shove on my joggers, wiggling and flailing in his bunk. He must hear this because he slowly peels the curtain back and bursts into laughter as he sees me try to act natural.
"Hi," he laughs. "Having trouble?"
"You scared the shit out of me," I chuckle, climbing out now fully dressed. Steps draw near and the curtain for the bunks is pulled back, revealing Vinny.
"Hey Scar did you want to play-" Vinny stares between us. "Your pants are on backwards," he points at me.
"Fuck!" I look down, now seeing that my drawstrings are not in front of me. I twist myself only to see them behind me. Chris laughs again and rubs his temples. My eyes go back up to Vinny and he isn't even smiling much. "Is something wrong Vin?" I ask, softening my voice.
"Nah," he pushes past me and grabs something from his bunk and walks back to the front. What the hell was that for? I open my mouth, but shut it, not sure what to say to him. Chris places his hand on my shoulder, it's somewhat comforting for me.
"I'll talk to him," Chris assures me. I sigh and pinch my nose.
"I don't get it, nothing has happened in the past day to make him remotely upset," I groan. "He's never been upset with me before now that I think about it."
"He's not really the type to get that moody with anyone either," Chris adds on. He watches my face, it's probably clear how bothered I am. I groan and sit into his bunk, forgetting for a moment that my joggers are backwards. "You gonna fix those?" Chris jokes, easing the tension.
"I probably should," I softly smirk. Chris nods and leaves me alone, probably going over to talk to Vinny. I hop up and start undressing again, flipping the joggers to the correct side and start to head into the front. My phone starts buzzing and I look down to see a text from Nikki.
