Chapter 39

Lexi pov

That. Bitch. I want to kill myself. She just has to have everything her way. Back when me and Dylan were friends we did everything together. I fall to the thinking about it. My eyes turning suicidal. I start crying and think back to 2nd grade.

Flashback

I watch as my best friend Dylan laughs at my brother Max. I smile and jump down the tree my baby vampire teeth showing. Max my older brother was 12 at that time and he loved me and Dylan both. Heck, if Dylan wants to marry me max would probably love it. I laugh and jump on Dylan's back laughing at them being silly. "Ahh!" Dylan yells and we fall. "You butt." I laugh. He gets up and picks me up bridal style. "Oh! I have something for you!" He says. "Really!?" I say and he nods. I kiss his cheek and he blushes. "Stay here! I'll go get it!" He says. I smile and wait as he runs into his house. We were over at his place while mom and uncle talked. "Wonder what he got you?" Max wiggles his eyebrows. "I don't know." I laugh and shrug. "Okay close your eyes and hold out your hand!" Dylan yells and I do both. I feel him grab my hand and slide something in my finger. "Okay." He says. I look and see a small infinity ring on my left hand. I smile and hug him. "Together forever." He whispers in my ear. I smile and nod my head. "Together forever." Then 1 week later Maria came to town. She took Dylan away. Like he was under a spell. That's when uncle Nolan decided to teach me his powers.

End of flashback

I feel my chest tighten and I let out another sob. I look up at the sky. I scream and it starts to rain. Controlling the weather with my emotions again. I let out another sob and it thunders. I hit the ground and it shakes. I scream and lighting strikes a nearby tree. Everyone screams and they look at me. I breath in and breath out heavily and shaky. That's when the wind picks up. "Lexi!" They yell and I look at them my eyes shining brightly with suicidal and crying eyes. I start crying harder and the rain picks up. "Please Lexi calm down!" They all yell. "FREEZE!" I yell and everything stop. I look up and my eyes turned scared as everything around me is froze. I see a light and I almost scream as someone pops in front of me. "Uncle Nolan?" I ask. "You've done great let's see what you are. Relax in every way and let's your animals/powers come out." I hear a woman say. "Grandma!" I say and she smiles her tail waving back and forth. "First let's see your wolf." Nolan smiles. I relax and my eyes show it and I think wolf. Then I feel my whole body change and I get on all fours. "Amazing darling!" Grandma cheers. "Calm down Emily." Nolan smiles. "You're doing great. Now vampire." I relax again and think vampire. I feel my fur leave and my teeth grow longer and I can stand up. I look at him feeling my eyes change into calm vampire. "Emily what do you think cause she's doing good." Nolan says. "She's doing wonderful!" She cheers. "Now wizard." Grandma says. Wizard. I think and relax. I feel my teeth grow in and my eyes turn normal. "Make your mom appear." Nolan says. "Um okay." I say and close my eyes. With a wave of my hand I open my eyes back and there she is my mom. "Mom!" I say and she smiles. "Isn't she improving Amanda?" Nolan asks. "Very." She smiles at me. "Well that's all-" "Don't you guys want to see my hybrid?" I ask and they all look at me. "Excuse me?" Grandma says. "I'm a hybrid." I say and she smiles. "Show us." Nolan frowns. I start humming Amelia by Tonight Alive and then think hybrid. Then I feel my teeth grow a little my ears pop up and my tail hitting my back. I smile and open my eyes. "Amanda." My uncle and grandma say at the same time. "She's so special." My mom gushes and she hugs me. I hug her back. "We'll be back soon now change back into a wolf and we'll be on our way." Nolan smiles and he and grandma hug me. "Bye." I say and then change bac quickly and they yell. "UNFREEZE!" Then everything unfreezes and the rain changes. My eyes turn to happy/memorized. Then I think of Dylan and look at him. They think I didn't see Maria kiss him. I know everything. I look at everyone staring at me and run off.

Dylan pov

I don't know what I'm feeling. I love Lexi. But Maria. 2nd grade. So much is running through my mind as everyone yells at me. I look up at Lexi and she looks down at me. She runs off just as I'm about to talk to her. I look at everyone and run off in the other direction. I keep running until I get to a river. I start crying and look into the river. I could end it. The water hitting the jagged rock. I look around and see a tree. I see some rope and then the idea comes in mind and I'm grabbing the rope. Not thinking about anything. Not before I hear Lexi running toward me yelling my name! "DYLAN NO!" She yells picking up speed. The wind picking up with her speed. I quickly tie the rope around the tree and me and make a freeze. "I'll jump don't move! I've screwed everyone and now I'm just doing them a favor!" I yell and jump. "NO!" She yells and runs over to my and tries to heal me. Then I blackout into darkness.
