"What do you mean couples party,what if I'm not married, then does that mean I won't attend or what?"
"I don't know for that, but now that you're married you will have to come along with your wife"kabeer said
I am talking with my friend kabeer who's getting married and they've already started events, and he's telling me that today will be 'couples party' which I don't think I can attend, but kabeer is my best friend, I don't have a friend like him, how am I not supposed to go
"Listen kabeer, you and I know that me and my wife are not in a good term, how do you expect me to come with her and what if she rejects" I asked him annoyingly
"I don't know how you will do it but just come with your wife or else stay at home, because nobody will be single in this party, and even if you were not married you would will have to come with maybe your girlfriend that's if you ever had"he answered
"Okay then I'm not coming "I said before leaving his house.

The party will be starting by 8:30pm and this is 8 already and I've not tell her yet,
i made up my mind to go and tell her, I'm the one marrying her so she'll have to do what I tell her to do, I can't not attend my best friend's wedding and I don't have any other choice than going with her.
I went and meet her in the kitchen doing the dishes, now doing the real dishes not the other one.
"Hey"I said sitting on a chair at the center
"Wa'alaikumul salaam"she answered and I felt somehow
"Ohh salamu alaikum "I corrected myself
"Spill" she said not looking at me still doing her work
"Ermm go get ready, we are going out tonight "
That's when she turned and looked at me
"Going out? To where? And why? "She asked all at once
"To my friends wedding party "
"Can't you go alone"
Urghhh she's annoying
"Its a couples party, if not what made you think I'll go with you or you know what, just leave it I'll go alone"i answered her
"What are you saying? You just said its a couples party and you'll be going alone? People will laugh at you that you're single you fool, for that you have no other option than going with me, you must go with me and I'll go get ready now, wait for me let me finish this"she said turning to her work
"Okay but make it snappy"I said leaving the kitchen smiling because I said that to make her comply and she did.
Oh my goodness she look gorgeous in the sky blue abaya she is wearing, one thing I noticed about her is that she loves wearing abayas, I've never seen her in anything aside abayas and trust me she look more than good in them.
I was waiting in the parlour while she was coming down from upstairs
Her perfume brought me back to reality and that was when I noticed shes already near me.
"You are looking alluring "I said looking at her eyes
She immediately looked down maybe uncomfortable with the way I was looking at her and replied with "you not looking bad yourself "
"Thank you"I replied, we stood there for some seconds without knowing what to do or say to each other
"What are we waiting for?" She asked finally raising her head up
"Um lets go"I said offering her my hand, I didn't know when or why I did that but I just felt the need to do that
She didn't argue and gave me her hand
This is the first time I am touching her and I felt something, something I don't know
"Your hands are warm and soft "I said not looking at her
"Hey what's with all these compliments now, what are you up to"she asked smiling softly
I didn't bother answering her and again said
"your smile is beautiful "
"Okay you are scaring me now, are you selling me? "She asked me which made me laughed,
This girl is funny I thought before we headed to the car, I opened the passenger's sit for her myself before going to the driver's sit and drove off.
The ride was a silent one and she has been giving me a questionable look.
