Chapter thirteen
Saleem
We entered the hall but not holding hands now
The place was a bit noisy because there were many people and the music was playing very loud,
We found an empty table so I told her to sit I'll back in short
Immediately I want to leave she held my hand
"Pls don't take long, I'm not feeling comfortable here and there are many people here
"Okay I just want to find kabeer and our friends "
She noded and I left.
Sa'adah
I wasn't feeling okay at all
I don't like the place
I was feeling like everybody was looking at me and I don't like eyes
Just then a man came and sat on the same table I was sitting
"Excuse me young lady"
I ignored him and brought out my phone to play a game
"I am... "I quickly interrupted him by saying
"Please can you do me a favor of leaving, I am a married woman"I said concentrated on my phone
I then felt the urge to call my husband oh saleem I mean but unfortunately I don't have his number
The guy still didn't leave
Infact he started blabbering some nonsense I don't even understand
"I know many girls like you, that's what girls do nowadays, they lie that they are married when they don't even have boyfriend, stop being hard to get and listen to me"
The next thing I saw was saleem on top of the guy hitting him very hard
"Who the hell gave you the right to talk to my wife, how dare you"he kept beating the guy as people came to stop him but no he's not leaving him.
A guy who I don't know came and stopped him
"Don't let me see you again or else you'll die that instant "saleem said to the guy that talked to his wife lol.
"What were you doing saleem"the guy that stopped him asked
"He was talking to my wife kabeer"
"Oh goodness I'm sorry saleem "the guy saleem called kabeer said and turned to me"I'm very sorry "
Why is he apologizing
I didn't answer him and I just kept my head down
I never knew saleem is such a violet. Why would he do that.
"Saleem I think we should leave"I said looking at him
"No you guys are not leaving until we finish this"the kabeer guy said
Just then saleem said
"Oh I forgot to introduce you guys, sa'adah this is kabeer, my friend that's getting married "
"Ohh sannu kabeer" I said looking at him.
We went and sat down on another table beside where the groom and bride was
I was curious to know why he beat the man, not that I'm angry that he beat him infact i liked it but I wanted to know why he did that
As far as I'm concerned her doesn't even care about me
"Saleem why did you that"
I said to him as we sat on down
"Seriously? You are asking me why I beat the man that tried to harass my wife? "He said fumming with anger.
"Listen, its not like I'm saying its your fault but you don't even care about me, you don't care who talks or mingle with "I said looking at him confused
"We shouldn't talk about this here or even at home "he said standing to leave but then suddenly sat back.
