Lucas POV

"Fuck!" I read the report card paper. I got an A- on my last quiz. Which meant my grade dropped from Alpha to Beta and that only meant. I looked down on the notes section.

Phone privilege revoked.
Mate privilege revoked.

The most stupidest classes. Theo got a D in science and that's why we were both being put on academic probation. I grabbed my phone and quickly called Kira . I didn't realize until it was too late that she was still at school.

"I am Luna! I can answer the phone to my mate!" She said answering the phone. "Stop it! Mrs. Hart!" She growled.

"Hey Lucas!" She joyfully filled the phone. "Can you get Mrs. Hart to fuck off! She is denying that I am Luna because I haven't been officially crowned!"

"I will, hand the phone to her" I heard her tell the teacher that I wanted to speak to her.
The teacher spoke into the phone and that's when I put her in her place. "Let her speak to me whenever I see fit! She is your Luna"

"Yes Alpha" I smiled when I heard her hand the phone to Kira. If I were there I know she would have the biggest smirk on her face.

"What's so important you called right now?" She asked. She sounded irritated.

"I've lost my phone privileges and mate privilege for the quarter! I won't be able to call or see you for 2 months!"

"You're crazy!" She yelled. "What did you do? Ugh that's not fair! I've been able to keep my parents happy but you can't keep a teacher happy?" She whined. She sounded like a true Luna scolding her mate.

"I'm sorry!" I whined. I knew my wolf and I had our tail tucked between our legs.

"No excuses! My parents always say that if you were truly sorry you would have tried harder for it not to happen!" Her tone was very stern.

"You're right. I should've done better, and made sure your brother too" I looked at Theo who looked mad that I told her.

"What did he do? He got you in trouble?" She asked. She growled into the phone.

"It was both of us... not just me and not just him"

"Fine! Well, I've gotta head back to class" she returned to her normal tone. "I guess I'll talk to you in months" she whined and whimpered.

"If anyone messes with you let your guard know. They have my permission to beat them up"

"Okay!" She chuckeld. I could've sworn I she was smiling, and my wolf and I wanted to see her smile. I hung up and walked over to my drawer. I grabbed the charger.

"Why aren't you freaking out?" I asked Theo.

"I have an extra phone, I was gonna tell you but you went on and called Kira"

"Oh no way!!" I got excited.

"Yeah these are the phones we will turn in"

"Just don't use it out of the dorm. Don't get caught with it and if you do, only you have one and not me"

"Got it!" I grabbed the extra phone and placed it in my pocket. "I knew you were beta for a reason"

"So not because its in my blood and we are best friend?"

"That too!" I shoved him. He chuckled and texted Angel as if nothing was wrong.

'Atleast we will get to hear her voice!' My wolf said. I whimpered, knowing that within seconds I will want to see her and won't be able to.
