Chapter 5

2 month later

Lucas POV

I got out of class and went straight to the hospital. I brought all my school work with me. I opened the door and saw the five guards around her.

"You're all excused" I pointed at 3 of them. "The two of you are guarding the door" They nodded and walked away to do as told.
"Good day princess! I am almost done with my presentation I told you about yesterday! I should finish today and be able to present early tomorrow!"

I sat down and started working on my school work. My sister funeral was the weekend after the accident and I still had the program pamphlet on my desk. I looked at the cute smile my little sister always had. I couldn't help but hurt and imagine how I would be if Kirami had died.

'No! Don't even think that you stupid man!' My wolf growled. I chuckled he can't even handle the thought of our mate dying. I looked at my sleeping beauty. I had covered her in her pink blanket and gotten her new pink pillows. She had pink curtains and pink everything in the hospital room.

'Mate wake up!' Lucian growled.
'Mate!' He howled.

I shook him out of my mind and focused on my work. I sensed someone coming. Then the guard ask who they're. Theo walked in, Ryan walked in behind him.

"Hey!"

"What's up, how is she?" He asked.

"She is hanging in there" I replied.

"That's good, my parents say that you come here everyday"

I nod. I respond but keep an eye on Ryan as he sits down on my couch.

"I don't mean harm Lucas, but she is my best friend and I've been coming after school to see her too, I try not to come when you are here" Ryan goes on to tell me that the teachers are asking about my mate. They are worried for my Luna.

"Dude, I think she just moved" Theo said. Ryan jumped up to look and  growled at both of them to move away.

"Kira?" Her hand moved. "Baby!" She held my hand. Theo ran out to call the doctors.

"Lucas" her sweet voice called out to me. "Lucas!" She smiled.

Her eyes opened and they were black. "Kira?" I asked worried.

"Mate!" She yelled.

"That's me my love"

She smiled and her eyes returned to the bright blue she had been born with. "Move over alpha" the doctor ordered.

She whined for my touch. I whimpered at the loss of her sight.
"Lucas!" She yelled.

"I am here, let the doc take a look at you" I smiled to reassure her.

"No!" She growled. She extended her arm towards me. The doctor moved so I could hold her. She continued to check her.

"Every thing seems normal, Theo why don't you call your parents. She still needs to stay here for observations"

"Ryan I think you should go before Lucas bites your head off" Kirami said.

We both nod and Ryan leaves and Theo steps out to call his parents. The doctor writes some stuff on the clipboard and then leaves.

"Lucas, you never came" she whined. I grabbed her hand and cried. "I tried, but by the time I got there you were in here already. I am so sorry"

"What's that?" She pointed at the pamphlet next to her. "Mely!" She cried.

"She okay? Right? Lucas! Your sister! My best friend is she okay?" She cried. I shook my head. Picked her up in my arms and held her as she cried uncontrollably. Her parents walked in and I linked them to what happened. They walked out of the room letting me try to comfort Henny.
