CHAPTER 8

Kirami POV

I sat next to Lucas as every high rank pack member walked in. Then Ryan walked in with the biggest smile. When I met him, Ryan had no idea if the goddess would bless him with a mate. Because for a long time being gay was wrong within our community. But since Lucas took over, it's been acceptable and more and more unmated wolves have come out with their mates. It gave Ryan hope.

"Where is Carlos?" I asked.

"He is showering" he smiled. "Wishing I was with him right now, what is this about anyways?"

"You'll see"

"Alright settle down everyone!" Lucas stood at the front of the meeting room. "I recently found out who was the wolf that put out an attack on my sister and your Luna. My mother"

It was unavoidable for everyone to be shocked and whisper to each other.

"So, I will need you all to gather your best troops. We need to be prepared for my father to be angry. We will also need high security in the cells. Putting an ex Luna in a cell will not be easy and a lot of loyal members will see it as wrong. Be prepared for backlash"

"Since we will be apprehending the former Luna, we will need extra help and extra security. My father might be very upset and fight us for his mate"

"Yes sir!" Everyone was shocked and were whispering amongst themselves. Lucas grabbed my hand and led me out of the room, he held on to my hand as if I was the only thing holding him together. Ryan followed behind while everyone else walked afterwards back to their post. The plan was that in an hour they would all go get Lucas mom.

"Hey I've gotta go get ready, mind spending time with Carlos?"

"I don't mind!" I smiled and walked towards Ryan's room. I knocked and heard Carlos say I could go in.
"Hey!"

"Hello Ms Luna" his hair was still dry.

"Just call me Kira or Kirami "

"Yes mam" he said looking down, avoiding eye contact. He fidgeted with his thumbs.

"We will work on the formality. I am your friend okay!" I sat on Ryan's bed.

He just stayed silent and nodded.

"How was your shower?"  I asked.

"I didn't know how to turn the shower on, so I sat here waiting for Ryan"

"Oh boy! He is going to be gone for a bit. Do you mind if I show you?" I knelt in front of him.

"If it's not too much to ask" he spoke softly, almost afraid.

"Not at all, come on" He followed me and stood behind me as I turned the shower on. "How does that feel?"

He stared at me, not knowing what I meant. "Feel the water. Is it the right temperature?"

He stuck his arm out and let the water hit him. "It's perfect!" He smiled.

"Great!" I smiled and looked around for a towel. Found one in the cubert and hung it near the shower. "Okay, that's the soap, use the sponge to lather it on real well! shampoo and conditioner"

"Where do I put that?" He asked. My heart shattered, this boy had never showered.

"On your hair, the shampoo you rub it all on your hair and the conditioner too but you leave the conditioner on for about 3 minutes to let it sit in and do its job"

"Okay! Then I wash it away with the water?"

"Yeah!" I smiled as Carlos smiled.

"Will Ryan be away long?" He looked down and had a sad look.
