Chapter 2

6months time skip.

Lucas age: 17 1/2
Hennessy age: 16

Hennessy POV

I walked out of class after having had the worst experience. A bunch of the kids that are in my pack, have been rejecting the idea of me as their Luna. But then my day got better when I received a text from Lucas.

Lucas, hey I am outside!

I ran out to meet up with him. He was leaning on his car. Some students that also belong to our pack surrounded him. He probably smelt me nearby because once he noticed me. He lifted his head and growled for everyone to get away. Today was the first time we would go out alone. After he found out I was his mate, he had to be at the academy for 6 months before he was allowed to visit on the weekends. Though we have texted and talked on the phone. This was different, I felt nervous. What if I wasn't what he wanted. I was now 16 and understood more about being his mate. Once my parents found out, they sat me down and had the talk with me.

I was frozen in place. Unable to move. Once a clear path was made as people moved away, Lucas walked over to me.

"Kirami, are you okay?" He walked up to me slowly. I looked up and saw his eyes, and knew he was concerned. "Can I hug you?"

I nodded.

He walked closer and pulled me into his arms, he gave me a big squeeze. "You don't understand how badly I've needed you"

He burrowed his face in my neck, I swear I heard him purr.

"Lucas, people are staring" I whispered.

"I don't care, you are their Luna and they should be treating you as such" he pulled away and smiled. "Have you gotten more beautiful in the last 6 months?"

I shrugged.

"What's wrong Kira? Was it something I did?" He noticed that something was wrong.

"No, I've just had a hard day" I looked down.

He picked my face up and cupped my face in his hands. He looked in my eyes as if he was able to see right thru me.

"Who has been mean to you?" He growled.

"Umm just some kids." He grabbed my arm and pulled me with him. I tried to keep up but he was too fast. He walked over to a group of pack students.

"Who here has been disrespectful to Luna Kirami?" The wolves all put their heads down.

"Lucas, please it's okay!" I tried to calm him down. But instead he started to growl.

"One more chance to confess, who was it!" He growled louder. His growl was a warning, Lucas was ready to attack them all if Bee and Mary didn't speak up.

"Me" two of the girls said together. I could tell that they were afraid, their eye gaze was down to the ground and they were slightly shaking.

"You owe her an apology!"  Lucas said sternly.

"I'm sorry Kira" Bee said.

"It's okay" I said. Hoping that was the end.

"Adress her only as Luna!" Lucas growled, they flinched.
