chapter 8

a/n: all my assessments are done! it's probably holidays by the time i publish this so i'll try and be more consistent now that i have a lot of free time👍 anyway i have no idea what to do now on so i think write ideas in the comments :>

time: 6:43 am

Rays of light filtered through the curtains hanging in front of the windows in Ena's room. The person with pink hair shuffled around, trying to fall back asleep, but after a while they gave in and sat up from her slightly uncomfortable position on the pillows. They rubbed their eyes and looked at their surroundings, then towards Ena, who was still fast asleep on her bed. "oh god they are cute- wait what am thinking?" Mizuki asked theirself, then decided to go on their phone, trying to distract theirself from what they were thinking about. During that time, they contemplated about whether or not they had a crush on Ena. After a while, they completely forgot about the last 10 ish minutes, as they found a show that they found interesting, and accidentally started to binge watch it. 

In what felt so short, it was now after 8 am, and loud thumping was heard at the door. "Ena wake up it's time for breakfast" a male voice from the other side of the door screamed at the sleeping girl. Mizuki, not knowing what to do, got up and twisted the door handle without a word. "E- oh akiyama, you're here. I didn't know" The ranga on the other side of the door said. "Don't worry about it, Ena's sleeping still." Mizuki replied. They both chatted for a couple minutes, then out of the corner of his eye, Akito could see his sister shuffle around in her bed and slightly open her eyes. "Ena get up, breakfast is ready" Akito said loudly, destroying any chance of Ena going back to sleep. "noooooooo 5 more minutessssss" she complained groggily. "Get up and i'll buy you some cheesecake" Akito bribed her, and with a little convincing, Ena got up and the three of them walked downstairs, to two bowls of plain cereal. Ena made a third bowl for Mizuki, which she was thanked for, and they all sat at the wooden dining table and ate in complete silence. 

When Ena finished her bowl of cereal, she took her phone off of the table and watched Tiktok, breaking the silence that was present, but only a little. Akito shortly walked off to his room, leaving the two other people alone. They both chatted at the dining table for a while, then Ena turned on the tv and they started watching and roasting 5 minute crafts and troom troom (a/n: IM SOBBING I CANT). They do this for a while, until a knock was heard at the door. Ena stood up and twisted the doorknob, and 3 people, a short blonde, a tall blue haired guy and the last with  black hair that faded into a blue. "We're here for Akito" one of them said. "AKITO GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW" The brunette screamed out to her brother. Akito made his way downstairs, and had a small shocked expression on his face. "Oh it's you guys" he said bluntly. He walked past Ena and the 4 of them walked away from the Shinonome household.

"Hey Ena do you wanna go to a cafe?" Mizuki asked Ena with a smile. The girl's face lit up and she immediately ran upstairs to change. She came back downstairs shortly with a new outfit on, and a small bag with her wallet and her phone. They both threw on a pair of shoes and walked to the small corner cafe down a couple streets away. They placed their orders and sat down at a table in the corner. Shortly after ordering the cafe worker brought their orders to their table and the two people started eating. Ena ordered a marble cheesecake (marble is chocolate and vanilla swirled but not mixed together) with whipped cream and Mizuki ordered a red velvet cupcake with sprinkles. After they finished eating, Mizuki thanked Ena for letting her stay over and the breakfast and they stood up and walked off with a smile. Ena was disappointed that Mizuki had to leave, but then realised she was finished and should leave too. 

She got up and walked out of the cafe, then spotted a clothing store where it had a pretty skirt on display, and Ena instantly knew she had to try it on. She walked into the store and found the skirt she had her eye caught on, took a couple different sizes and took them to the fitting room. After trying on the skirt, she took a couple pictures and sent them to her most fashionable friend.

amia: YES YOU DO IT IT LOOKS GREAT ON YOU 

Ena took off the skirt purchased it with a smile plastered on her face. She bought a small bag as well to carry the skirt around and she was heading home past the supermarket and realised she needed more snacks for her room. She quickly got what she needed and put them in the same bag as the skirt and went home. After getting to her room, she flopped onto her bed and pulled out her phone. The brunette haired girl continued to scroll through social media until her computer made the ever so familiar ringing sound. Her head turned to the clock on her desk. 

"1:00 am"

by the time i finished writing this it's the holidays and i wrote this chapter in like 5 days so go me👍 anyway i'll write more now so expect more soon cuz there's nothing better to do
