Marty spun around for a while, and finally spotted the cave Doc had talked about earlier.
"The cave!" Alex exclaimed, pointing.
He drove toward the cave and watched the Indians and their horses leaping over the cave away from something. Thinking they're safe, they ventured out and climbed up to see nothing.
Suddenly, they heard a trumpet playing, and a bunch of cowboys were riding directly towards them.
"SHIT! The Cavalry!" Marty yelled.
They both jumped back into the cave.
Once they saw the coast was clear, Marty looked over the DeLorean, and saw an arrow that an Indian shot into the car.
Not thinking, he pulled the arrow. He stooped down to look underneath the car. There was liquid dripping from the bottom of the car. "Damn. I ripped the fuel line."
"What?" Alex asked.
"I pulled this arrow out, and the fuel line ripped." Marty explained.
"Why did you pull it out." Alex asked.
"Should I have left it in there?" Marty asked.
"Yes." Alex said. "It's the same reason why you don't pull out a knife when you get stabbed."
"Sorry." Marty apologized.
Alex opened the wing doors, and took out the tiny photo of Doc's tombstone, stuffing it into her pocket.
Marty took out his boots.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of a bear roaring. They looked up, and saw a giant brown bear standing only a few yards away from them.
"AHHHHH!" They screamed.
The bear roared again, and stood up on its hind legs.
"AHHH!" They ran away from the bear, and out of the cave. Marty dropped his boots along the way. The bear sniffed curiously at the boots and stopped, nosing through it. Marty and Alex, however, kept running while looking at the bear and tripped, sliding down a hill. They tried to stop but couldn't. They crashed at the bottom of the hill on a farmer's fence.
"Ow." Alex said.
She looked over to Marty, who unsurprisingly, was blacked out again.
"Every time." She laughed. She went to stand up, but immediately collapsed back down to the ground.
Confused, she took her boot off. Her left ankle was all swollen.
"Dammit. I sprained it." She said. She tried to put her boot back on, but her ankle had swollen up to the point she couldn't slip her foot back in.
"Excuse me miss. Are you and your friend hurt?" A man with an Irish accent approached her.
Alex looked up. Her eyes widened in shock. The man looked exactly like Marty.
"Uh- yeah. I think I sprained my ankle." She said.
"I can bring you two inside. Get ya all fixed up." He said.
"Thank you." Alex accepted.
"I'm Seamus by the way. Seamus McFly." He reached his hand down to help her up.
Alex took his hand, and he hoisted her up.
"Can you walk?" He asked.
"I think so." She took a step on her ankle, and it gave out.
"I'll go get my wife." He took Marty, and dragged him inside into the house.
A woman came out with bandages, and a bucket.
