Once they got to town, Marty and Alex jumped off the horse, and ran into the saloon.
"Doc! Doc!" Marty noticed the glass. "What are you doing?"
"I lost her Marty. There's nothing left of me here." Doc said.
"Right, thats why we gotta get going." Alex said.
Doc looked confused. "Where?"
"Back to the future!" Alex exclaimed.
"Right, let's get going." Doc put the shot glass down.
"Great. Marty said.
"Gentlemen, excuse me, but my friends and I have to catch a train." Doc said.
"Here's to ya, blacksmith." a man raised his glass in salute.
"And to the future!" another man raised his glass too.
"Amen." The third man said.
"Amen." Doc raised his glass from the bar, and put it to his mouth.
"Emmett no!" The bartender yelled.
Doc swallowed the whiskey. As everyone watched in horror
Doc took a step forward, and keels over. Knocking over the old timers table.
"Doc! Doc! Doc! C'mon, Doc, wake up, wake up, Doc." Marty said.
"How many did he have?" Alex asked the bartender.
"Just one." The bartender answered.
"Just one!" Alex spoke in disbelief.
"C'mon Doc." Marty said.
"There's a feller that can't hold his liquor." The bartender said.
"Give me some coffee... black." Alex said.
"Joey, coffee!" The bartender yelled.
Alex looked out the window and saw the clock. It read 7:45.
Marty tried to feed Doc the coffee, but it wasn't working.
"You want to sober him up in a hurry, son, you're gonna have to use something a lot stronger than coffee." The bartender said.
"Yeah, what do you suggest?' Alex asked.
The bartender smiled. "Joey. Let's make some wake up juice."
Someone set out a variety of ingredients; salts and liquids and things like that. The bartender poured the mixture with the help of Joey.
"In about ten minutes, he's going to be as sober as a priest on Sunday." The bartender said.
"Ten minutes?!" Alex looked at the clock. It was now 7:50. "Why do we have to cut these things so damn close?"
The bartender walked over with the glass of liquid, a funnel and a clothespin. "Here, stick this clothespin on his nose, and when he opens up his mouth, go ahead and pour it on down his throat." Marty began to comply. "Oh, and stand back."
Marty poured the liquid through the funnel and for a moment nothing happened. Luckily he stood up just in time, because Doc's eyes suddenly opened wide.
He jumps up and shrieks. "WAHHHH!! HOT! HOT!"
Doc ran out of the saloon and turned, crashing straight into the water-filled horse trawl. He didn't move.
Marty, Alex and the bartender ran out after him and look around, and spot him by the horse trawl. They lifted him out of the water and looked at his face.
