BEATING SO FAST
RIGHT NOW.❞
Throughout her time dating Chris, Lovette discovered that his love language was undoubtedly physical touch. At first, he approached it with a certain timidity, as if unsure about crossing certain boundaries. She could see the internal battle playing out on his face, which she found endearing. He clearly wanted to touch her but seemed hesitant. In those moments, Lovette couldn't help but smile at his shyness. It was evident that he cared deeply and didn't want to overstep any boundaries. Yet, she also sensed how much he longed for that physical connection, just like she did.
Determined to ease his worries and convey her openness, Lovette decided to take the first step. She reached out, gently taking his hand in hers. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about her feelings for him. She wanted to show Chris that she was more than okay with physical affection; she welcomed it wholeheartedly.
The moment she held his hand, she could see the relief in Chris's eyes, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. From that moment on, they both embraced physical touch as a natural way to express their affection for each other.
At this moment, as Lovette's sweet kisses leave Chris feeling as if he's in heaven, her hands glide smoothly up his clothed chest, sending a flurry of butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Reluctantly, they parted, but Lovette's smile kept the warmth alive.
"Your heart is beating so fast right now," she whispers, their lips still teasingly close.
Chris couldn't help but grin, his fingers tracing delicate patterns on her hips. "Probably cause my pretty girlfriend is kissing me."
Her laughter is like a melody, and it instantly melts Chris's heart. Unable to hold back, he leans in to capture her lips once more, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. But to his surprise, the moment is cut short as Lovette pulls away.
"I need to tell you something important," she begins, her voice carrying a hint of seriousness.
Chris simply hums, his fingers playfully toying with the firefly pendant hanging from her neck. It has become a habit of his, taking comfort in the fact that she wears the gift he gave her with such fondness.
"My friends are visiting next month, and I want you to meet them," Lovette reveals, her hands gently dropping from his chest.
While he was thrilled that she wanted him to meet the people close to her heart, he couldn't help but worry if he would fit in or if they would like him. Meeting her friends felt like a significant step in their relationship, and he wanted to make a good impression. He brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear, wanting to show her that he was genuinely interested in getting to know the people who meant so much to her.
