16 | Love Blooms

Winter POV.

We arrived at our house, home sweet home. I miss being here. I grab our things and I hold Alexis hand.

The maid greeted us and I smiled. I ask were my parents are and she said that they are all in the living room.

"Are your ready my Alexis?" I asked and she jumped in excitement. I pinch her rosy cheeks and we went in.

All eyes on us and they are all looking at Alexis. They pressuring her but suddenly Alexis bow and greeted them.

My parents are pleased and we walk towards them. We sit and one of the maids took Alexis so we can have a private conversation with my parents.

"Are you sure on what you decided?". I grown and look at them pleading. I know it's big responsibility to take care of a child and also it not my own child.

"I know she's not mind but please accept her and love her wholeheartedly. These kid go through so much pain and I don't want her to believe that my own family will hurt her and can't accept her". I hold my mom's hand and look at them both dearly. Please, just this one give this moment to me.

"But how about her parents, I think they might looking for her. And adopting her without her true parents approval is another stage of insanity". I look at them confuse, another? What another insanity I've done?.

"All my life I've been obedient on what you've wanted for me. I never complain about the decision you made by yourself for me. In this household I never been have decided my own decisions but know that I accepted this marriage against my will, can you gift me some freedom?". That was a lie, I lied about being against on my own wedding. I been blinded by love that I did not know that I already hurt many people.

"And also my lawyer is taking care of the papers and the adoption center where she came from. Just please, I'm  begging you to slip this one and I will obey your decision after this". I grab my things and walk to my room I'm sure the maid took her in my room.

When I open the door they were happily playing and I smile. At the meantime my problems fade when I hear her laugh.

"Ma'am, Alexis is a bubbly child and if given a chance I want to to incharge on taking care of her when you're not around". She said while fixing Alexis clothes and putting her in the bed.

"I'm sure Alexis her will be thrilled and happy, right?". I said while looking at them and putting my bags away.

"Yes, I want her to be my friend". She giggled and hug the maid. They seems close already.

The maid bid her goodbye to us to that we can rest. It's been a long day and the pain and stress were getting into me.

I changes Alexis into her pajamas and I changed also. I put her to sleep first and I was looking on my cellphone waiting for Clouds call, but I guess he still believe that assumption.

Clouds POV.

I am to drunk and messy but the fact that Winter might lying to me is bugging me.

I reached for my phone to call someone. I need to at least try to find out the truth.

I know I'm to evil to shout and blame Winter for this without investigating and solving that we both cause. I only blame her to ease the pain I'm in when in fact I'm also one to blame in this situation.

"Hello? I have something I want you to do. Investigate Nisha's situation. Please help me bro to know the whole truth, I'll pay you". I look around and I did not notice that it already dark and cold.

I just can't get up because of the strong alcohol and the dizziness i'm feeling right now.

I call someone, not just someone. It's her.

"H-Hello please comeback home". I said before I passed out.

Winter POV.

I was about to lay down when my phone rings. It's him, Cloud.

"H-Hello please comeback home". He said and it ended.

I was nervously stand up and look at Alexis who's peacefully sleeping. I grab my jacket and keys and called the maid to check on Alexis.

I ran outside and it was heavily raining. I get inside on my car and drove back home. I checked the time and its 9 pm I keep calling Cloud's phone to inform him that I'm on my way.

Maybe we should fix our fight and not ran away. I shouldn't have left him alone in the house.

Half an hour of driving I successfully arrived in our house. I ran towards the door to keep myself from getting wet.

I open the door and I spotted Cloud in the floor, unconscious.

I tap him, to make sure he is still alive, kidding. I'm trying to wake him up. He's heavy after all.

"Hmmm, Win". He spoke I was so relieved.

"Don't waste your energy, let's go to your room to make you comfortable".

Even though he's heavy as hell we safely arrived in his room. I help him lay down and I removed his shoes. And cover himself with blankets.

I was about to go out when he grab my hand.

"Please, don't go". He muttered. I bitterly smiled I know he's thinking about Nisha.

Before I removed his hand he gently pulled me in the bed. He's breathing heavily and my cheeks were blushing.

No no no I don't want him to think that I'm taking advantage of him. I was about to get up when he kissed me. You're right HE FREAKING KISSED ME!
