We all hit the age old question -> What is life? At some point during our free time.
Whether you are just contemplating, a philosopher or just depressed, these mind of questions always come to mind.
An average person might live up to 65 years nowadays.
If you ask a child how much longer do you have till you hit 60, the child won't be able to imagine what 60 years is like. However ask someone hitting their 30s soon and the response will be different. Anyone in their 40s already knows they are starting to land their foot in the grave.
So it all comes down to what you do in the years you have. It may seem like a lot of years but they go by very quickly. If you think about it, your childhood disappears other than the moments that stand out. So you do live those years but they are almost non-existent in your memory.
In essence, time forgives none, it is then up to you on how you spend your years. One day you'll wake up and gray hairs will be visible and the question will then be -> What have I done with my life so far?
This is the part where you sort of have the crisis in life at different stages of life and at that point it is already too late to do anything about it.
So it does bring us back to the question, what should we do with our life. Some end up working to death, other playing to death etc.
There is no right answer, it is all a matter of perspective and what makes you sleep well at night knowing that you spent your time on this Earth doing something that you found worth it.
And if you take note, when you look back, you don't remember anything other than the important moments, even if they were for a few seconds, those stick with you.
What I'm trying to say is, don't get busy in life to the point that when you look back nothing stands out. Build the little moments and enjoy them and you will be remembering them when you wake up with gray hair.
But a disclaimer, I'm still a 25 year old so take this thought in the world of 8 Billion with a pinch of salt.
