Inko's POV

*Knock!* Knock!*

It was late afternoon; I was cleaning the house when I suddenly heard someone knocking on the door.

*CREAK*

Inko: "Hello?" I opened it and found nobody on the other side. "Umm?"

???: "Down here!" A childish voice screamed.

I looked down to see the next-door neighbor's kid, F/N L/N. He is a very young boy, about five years old. His family had moved into the apartment complex about a few months ago, and since then, their child Y/N has been visiting us every day to see my son Izuku.

Y/N: "Hello, Ms. Midoriya! Is Izuku home?"

Inko: "Yes, he's actually in his room. Why don't you wait inside while I go get him." I said to him and smiled.

After letting him inside, I went into Izuku's room and saw that he was drawing on his desk.

Inko: "Hey, Izuku."

Izuku: "What is it, Mom?"

Inko: "Your friend Y/N is here to see you."

Izuku: *Gasp!*

After saying that, he immediately got up from his desk and quickly rushed into the living room, and they immediately started playing around the living room. Ever since Y/N started visiting, Izuku has become happier than before. It was tough when the doctors told him he didn't have a quirk, but thanks to Y/N, he always managed to cheer him up. I was very happy that they were such good friends. A few hours later, I was in the kitchen preparing dinner, and after a couple of minutes, I was finished, and I called out to the boys that it was time to eat.

Inko: "Boys dinner is ready!"

After saying that, the boys gathered around the table and started eating. While they were eating, I began washing the dishes, and as I did, I overheard the boy's conversation.

Y/N: "Hey, Izuku, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Izuku: "The same as always! I want to become a hero who saves everyone with a smile on my face!"

Y/N: "That's cool!"

Inko: "What about you Y/N? What do you want to be when you grow up?" I asked him, and he thought for a moment.

Y/N: "... When I grow up, I want to be the strongest and make sure the ones I love are safe!" He said, which made me smiled

Izuku: "That's so cool!"
