Y/N sat on the floor of his small room, papers scattered around him, colored pencils spread out in every direction. His hands moved over the page, gently sketching a hero he had just thought up. The figure on the paper was fast, almost too fast for the eye to see. His heart raced as he imagined it—the speed, the rush. Yet, he also felt a tinge of fear. The power inside him was difficult to control, and his drawings reflected that. On paper, the hero was perfect, but in reality, Y/N struggled with the overwhelming force of his Quirk.

At nine years old, Y/N was small and shy, still coming to terms with his abilities. His Quirk, "Hyper Form," granted him incredible speed, but he couldn't fully control it. Often, he'd find himself tripping or moving too fast, causing small accidents. His parents were supportive but busy with work, leaving Y/N to navigate his newfound powers mostly on his own.

A soft knock on the door broke his concentration. His mother's voice followed,

M/N: "Y/N, sweetie, I want you to meet someone." Y/N set aside his pencils and cautiously opened the door.

Standing beside his mother was a tall woman, towering with confidence yet radiating warmth. Her blonde hair caught the evening light, and her eyes, sharp but kind, locked onto his with an inviting smile.

M/N: "This is Ms. Bate," his mother introduced. "She's going to be your babysitter for a while. Your father and I are going to be away more often, and we thought you might like someone to help you with your Quirk."

Y/N looked up at the woman with wide eyes, unsure what to say. Ms. Bate crouched down to his level, her smile never wavering.

Ms. Bate: "Hey there, Y/N. I hear you've got quite an impressive Quirk. Mind telling me about it?"
