Even without a host, the Venom symbiote is capable of freely extending its biomass into tentacles and tendrils and usually manifests a fanged mouth and large white eyespots. It can also manifest a humanoid head, torso, and arms, and after being cleansed, became able to take on humanoid form without a host for brief periods. When bonded to Y/N, it can shapeshift to mimic any clothing whatsoever, as well as blend Venom in with his surroundings, rendering him invisible. The symbiote has augmented all of Y/N's physical abilities to superhuman levels equal to All Might's.

Author's POV
It's dark, and the street lights can't properly light every part of it. There is little traffic, and most cars speed away a bit over the limits. Only a few windows appear lit from inside. Most shops are only dimly lit, with two exceptions.
All of this was viewed by a boy sitting on top of the edge of the building, staring at the city below him; his name was F/N L/N, and that was you. You are a casual and laidback person, and you are dedicated to standing up for the oppressed and taking down corruption.
Two months ago, you graduated from middle school, and in the next few days, you will take the U.A. entrance exam and become a student there. You weren't nervous; if you had to be honest with yourself, you were pretty excited about going there and couldn't wait to test your abilities during the entrance exam.
Since you were a little boy, you have always wanted to become a hero. You had a very powerful quirk, and ever since it appeared, other students started bullying you and spreading rumors about you being a monster. This caused you to have no friends because every student started to know you and called you Venom. You were saddened at first, but after a couple of years, you started to care less about what people say about you and to prove them wrong, you would become a hero and prove to them that you weren't a monster.
Anyways, as you watched down at the city, you heard an explosion nearby. You looked around and saw that six robbers were exiting a jewelry store with ski masks over their faces and money bags in their hands.
You looked around to see that there were no heroes or cops in sight.
Y/N: "*Sigh* Well,.. if the heroes aren't going to show up, then I guess it's okay for a student like me to stop them, right?" You said and looked back at the scene.
You then finished the rest of the chocolate bar, threw the wrapper away, and then took one step off the edge of the building and started falling.
As you fall, a black substance begins to envelop your body, covering your arms, legs, chest, back, etc. As you are close to the ground, the black substance begins to cover your face. You smile, and then you extend your legs as you land on the ground in a smooth three-point landing.
