The Past

Author's POV

It was a fine day in Hosu City. The week-long storm had washed every sidewalk and gutter clean, and a tincture of freshness still lingered in the air despite the traffic fumes. The vibrancy of the city had bounced back in the instant the clouds cleared, and already the parks were a hum of activity.

We then look up to a playground, a place designed to provide an environment for children that facilitates play. From there, we see a young girl who has short green hair and green eyes. Her name is Izumi Midoriya.

In front of Izumi, she stood in front of a young boy who had blonde spiky hair and red eyes. His name was Katsuki Bakugo.

Beside him, there were two boys the same age as him, and behind Izumi was a whimpering boy whom she was protecting from Bakugo's bullying.

Izumi: "Why are you being so mean? You're making him cry, Kacchan! If you keep on hurting him... Uhh... I'll, uhh... I'll stop you myself!" She yelled nervously and got into a fighting stance.

Katsuki and his group looked at him as if he were serious, but then their faces changed into a smile.

Katsuki: "You want to pretend to be a hero?" He then punched his palm and created a small explosion while his croup showed their quirks. "You don't stand a chance without a Quirk, Deku."

Izumi: *Gasp!* She gasped and pulled back from fear.

Suddenly, Katsuki and his group rush toward Izumi with the full intent of fighting her, but as they get closer.

???: "Hey!" A male voice yelled at the group.

Just then, another kid approached the scene and slid between the two groups while also making the Katsuki group stop. Katsuki grunted in anger and looked at the kid.
He had (F/C) Hair, (F/C) eyes, and (F/C) clothes; that was you.

Izumi/Katsuki: "Y/N?!" They yelled, surprised in unison.

Yep, Izumi and Katsuki know you. You basically grew up with them. You were close friends with Bakugo until he decided to become a bully after the lake incident with Izumi, and he started picking on her, but you were always there to stop him.

Anyways, you stood in front of Katsuki with a serious expression on your face, and Izumi and Katsuki made surprise expressions on their faces.

Y/N: "What are you doing Katsuki? You know what you're doing is wrong."

Katsuki: "Shut up, Y/N. I don't want someone to tell me what I can do, especially a Quirless person like you."

Bakugo was correct; you were, in fact, Quirkless like Izumi, but kids didn't pick on you as much as her because you didn't want to be a hero when you grew up, and one other reason.
