Zephire's POV
It has been weeks and I had been avoiding Caelix. I tried to make things go back like what my sister and I used to be. Lately, I always saw my sister approached Caelix, and I often saw them together. I couldn't bear to be around them, knowing how much my sister liked him. So, I decided to distance myself for good.
Right now we are at Caelix's house, mom wanted to visit Tita Caley, Caelix mom and she took us with her. Upon Arriving I go to the pool at Caelix's house, hoping to find some peace and quiet there.
I sat on the edge of the pool, dipping my feet in the water. I didn't know how to swim, but I liked the feeling of the cool water on my skin. I was lost in thought when suddenly, I slipped and fell into the deep end of the pool.
I panicked as I struggled to stay afloat. I tried to swim to the edge of the pool, but I only seemed to sink deeper. I gasped for air as I felt myself drowning.
Third Person's POV
Just then, Caelix appeared at the edge of the pool. He had heard the splash and had come outside to investigate. When he saw Zephire struggling in the water, he didn't hesitate to jump in and save her.
Zephany had been inside the house with their parents when she saw caelix goes near the pool so she followed him there to catch his attention but suddenly she heard the commotion outside. She ran to the pool and saw Caelix pulling Zephire out of the water. She was relieved to see that her sister was okay, but she was also filled with anger and jealousy.
"Zephire, what were you thinking? You could have drowned!" Caelix scolded her as he helped her out of the pool.
Zephire was coughing and sputtering, trying to catch her breath. "I-I don't know...I slipped..." she managed to say.
Zephany arrived at the pool, her expression cold. "Why did you come here, Zephire? You know you don't know how to swim you put yourself in danger." she said, her voice laced with anger.
Zephire looked up at her sister, still gasping for air. "I-I just wanted to be alone...I didn't know this was going to happen.."
Zephany's eyes just narrowed.
Zephire shook her head. Caelix put a comforting arm around Zephire. "Are you okay?" Caelix ask her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for saving me.."
Zephany looked away, still filled with anger and jealousy. All she knows was Caelix attention was always caught by Zephire even in unnecessary situations, and she hates it.
