Zephire's POV
I sat at my desk, staring out the window as I remembered that one summer day with my sister Zephany. We had been having a picnic in our backyard, enjoying the warm sunshine and talking about her crush, and also my secret crush caelix
I had always found Caelix attractive, but I knew he was a cold guy who didn't talk much. I couldn't help but hope that he would notice me but my sister likes him.
As we were discussing how cute Caelix looked at the last family gathering, he appeared out of nowhere, making the both of our hearts skip a beat. I felt a surge of excitement as Caelix walked near us.
Zephany suddenly goes near him and asks him to join us.
"Hey Caelix join us." Zephany eagerly wanted him to join us. But he resists.
"No thanks." After he said that he just passed Zephany.
I couldn't help but notice how his eyes kept darting. I felt a flutter in my chest and tried to hide my smile.
But then I noticed Zephany's gaze, full of jealousy. I could tell that my sister really likes Caelix, and it made me feel guilty for enjoying his attention.
As I sat at my desk, lost in thought, I realized that I had never stopped thinking about that summer day. It had been the moment I realized how much I wanted Caelix, but it had also been the moment when I realized how complicated things could get when feelings were involved.
