Chapter 8: Revelations

I dragged myself back to my room.

" Heyyyyyy Harls."

" Hello princess, How was your day? "

" It was fiiiine, I made some new friends today, and you were right, that pink lady is not good"

" Alright then, shall I prepare some refreshments? "

"Thank you so much Harls."

" You promised you would look at the rest of the rooms though and by the way your cat is getting a bit anxious in your room"

" Do I have to?" I groaned

"Yes, trust me it's not that bad, you might even enjoy it. "

Harls gave me an orange drink, it was sweet and sour, so good. 

"Let's start from where we left out then, the dressing room."

I thought we ended it near the pet room.....and didn't I already see the dressing room?

At the end of the room, there was a floor-to-ceiling mirror and I was asked to stand before it. 

" Now choose any dress from the clothing rack "

I chose a pretty blue dress, and suddenly the moment I touched it the mirror had a version of me wearing that dress.

" Now choosing the dress can be done in many different ways, you can do what you just did or you can ask me what kind of things you want to wear and make changes according to your taste by telling me. Now take your wand and tap on the mirror 3 times and then tap it on your chest 3 times while looking at your reflection."

I did and now the dress was on me but it showed me wearing the school uniform. Oh shit, I almost forgot! With a quick snap of my fingers, the illusion was down. Harls told me to open the mirror like a door and there, in a small compartment, was my purple-bordered school uniform.

" Also, this place can turn into a full-blown makeup studio but you don't need that right now, now let's go to the pet room and you will get why I asked you to put Emerald in there."

The pet room was more like a pet hall, it was huge but apart from the scratching and biting toys and automated feeding machines, a single shining orb was the centre of attention. On closer inspection, I could see that it was containing several long twisting wisps of magic protecting something. The sphere was placed on a cushion.

" That orb contains the egg of a magical creature called the Phoenix, it has been locked in a state of hatching, so the moment the magic is penetrated, the chick would be born. " 

" But I don't even know what a phoenix is." " You will get to know slowly. Now let's visit the storage unit."

Just like all the rooms and chambers here, this one was huge too, the walls were lined with things from top to bottom, not much spectacle was there but the room was still buzzing with energy and magic. It turns out that all these peculiar objects were highly useful magical devices. 

" Harls, I didn't understand something."

" What is it, princess?"

" How did you make luchi today? I mean How did you know about it?"

" I...I searched the muggle internet."

" But no one here uses the internet, I thought there was no connection. "

" There isn't, Magic usually interferes with the normal flow of the internet but I can catch a signal outside of the protective barriers of Hogwarts and tune it out in some ways.....would you like me to make you a device to access the internet? "
