"I'm so excited!" I squealed squeezing Abes neck as I rode his back, he grunted walking into the centre of the pit with our drinks in hand.
"You sure you're gonna be okay with standing for a few hours?" Abe asked as I scoffed.
"What kind of question is that?! Of course I will! This isn't my first rodeo standing in the pit y'know!" I stated as I hopped down off Abe.
"Sorry for having the courtesy to ask!" Abe remarked sarcastically as I took my drink off him.
"Besides not many people mosh for opener bands so my energy will be compacted and ready for Ice Nine Kills!" I grinned taking a sip as Abe nodded.
"How'd you hear about this band anyways?" He questioned as I hummed thinking about the very first song I've heard.

"It probably started back a couple years ago- the first song I heard off the band was probably Jason's mom! And ever since then I was hooked!" I explained while Abe and I rocked towards the barred off stage. The closer we got the better.
"And are you sure you're gonna be able to see okay? Cause I don't mind having you on my shoulders from time to time and then letting you down if you want to mosh." He asked as I sighed.

I didn't exactly account for my height but I'm sure I'll be able to see fine.

"Thank you Abe." I cooed as we have each other a gentle peck.

The last opener band finished, soon exiting the stage, I felt so pumped, My ears were ringing but besides that I was just so excited. I didn't know how Abe felt, I could only assume he was somewhat tolerant of it all. He was smiling but that could be anything-

"Need a refill?" He soon asked as he was now facing me, his hand on my head gently petting it.

"Uhh sure." I agreed.
"I'll try not be too long- keep my spot warm for me won't you!" He joked as I smiled watching him slither through the crowd to the bar. I don't know if it was because Abe just left me or how the excitement in my chest was convulsing but I think I was starting to get a little anxious.

I hate how much I relied on Abe.
He was my tall anchor.

I sighed as I glanced around a bit, listening to peoples conversations or just kept my business to the floor. It was already covered in plastic solo cups. It was kinda gross and I could only feel bad for whoever had to clean this shit up.

"Oh my god- Topher!" I hummed glancing back up as I saw Joan wiggle her way through the crowd towards me.
"Oh hey you!" I waved at her as she huffed finally getting to me.
"I didn't know you like Ice Nine." I smiled as she chuckled crossing her arms.
"I didn't know that you liked them either!" She smiled tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"So are you here alone or?" I asked as she nodded.
"My foster mom dropped me off."
"Are you here alone?" She asked back as I shook my head.
"I dragged Abe along with me." I stated as she nodded, humming.

"I didn't know Abe enjoyed this kind of music." She smirked.
"Uhh I kind of forced him to come cause I didn't want to be alone." I muttered embarrassedly.
"Oh Well- hopefully he does like the music! And if he doesn't then he's wrong and we have every right to bully him for it." We giggled and then abruptly stopped as we heard Jason's theme playing over the speakers. My anticipation growing, while the room filled with fog from the machines.
"Abe better move his butt- the shows starting!" Joan squealed as I agreed looking out for him.

"Where are you Abe.." I whispered looking over the crowd.

I gulped and eventually sighed as I saw the top of his head making his way back through the crowd towards us with our drinks and merch.

"Sorry I took so long- the line was a pain and I thought to get us merch before anyone else thought to do so, it's quite pricey for such a-" I hugged his leg as he simmered down and smiled.
"Miss me I take it." He chuckled and gently handed me my drink and shirt.
"It's bootlegged I hope that's okay." He muttered as I nodded shoving it on, I admired the shirt for a moment before glancing at Joan who stood there awkwardly, tucking her hair back behind her ear.

"Guess who I found!" I cooed showcasing Joan as she smiled as Abe gazed at her smiling back.

"Oh wow! Hey Joan! Didn't know you were here!" He chuckled as Joan hummed in response.

The show was amazing- the theatrics- the costumes- the possible seizure I could've gotten from the lights. The people being passed down to the front to get something to hydrate themselves with or well get resusated.

The show was great but the amount of bodies being passed down was actually quite concerning but at least most of the people being passed were okay and just rushing to get a drink.

Abe looked quite concerned.
Though it was his first concert.

"That concert was so amazing!! God! I hope they come back to Exclamation USA!" Joan exclaimed as I squealed along side her in agreement.
"You can say that again!" I grinned physically vibrating.
"Ehhh- it wasn't bad, quite loud but I loved the costumes and theatrics." Abe chimed as Joan and I glanced at him.

"Not bad! It was amazing!" Joan rolled her eyes, mocking Abe for his opinion.
"Well- it's not like I listen to that sort of music all the time! I don't know how to feel about it!" He crossed his arms with a frown as I quietly giggled listening to them squabble.

"Yeah-Yeah whatever." Joan sighed as her foster mom soon pulled up.

"Well I'll see you guys at school." She waved as he got into the car, her mom soon driving off, leaving Abe and I to ourselves. We stayed silent for a moment, taking a seat on a bench waiting for my mom.

"How'd you really feel about the concert?" I asked, giving Abe a side glance.

He looked down hiding his face as I hummed and smirked, poking his shoulder.

"You liked it didn't you Abe." I teased as Abe groaned.
"You liked it! Didn't you Abe!" I poked his cheek as he slouched down more, continuing to groan as I giggled.
"You liked it!! You liked it!! You liked it!! You-" he covered my mouth with his hand, leaning back up with pink cheeks.

"Yes! Okay! I did! Stop it!" He squealed as I licked his hand causing him to scream and wipe his hand off his jeans.
"You're gross!" He frowned as I continued to smirk.
"No you." I retorted.
"How dare you cover my lips with your filthy hand! I have no clue where it's been!" I scoffed playfully as he shook his head.

"Want me to show you where it's been." He muttered as I hummed curiously.
"Out in the open street." I cooed.
"Well it's not like I didn't do it in the concert." He replied as I blushed a little.
"Make it quick." I mumbled embarrassedly as he gently pet my head.

"My hands been in your greasy hair all night." He muttered with a sly smirk as I scoffed hitting his hand away.
"Jerk." I mumbled watching my mom pull up beside us.

"Hi honey! How was the concert?" She cooed from her window as Abe and I got in.
"It was great." I replied as she took off, taking us back home.
