"Are you ready?" Cyno asked, a hint of excitement in his voice, as you fastened your backpack brimming with supplies, including food and water. Today, you would be embarking on an adventure to Aaru Village alongside him.
Travelling with Cyno and Tighnari had become an incredible opportunity for you to expand your knowledge of human life. Fortunately, your sister granted you permission, and she was genuinely delighted that you sought to explore.
"Y/n, did you remember to pack towels? An extra shirt? Where's your umbrella?" Kaveh's protective nature shone through, his concern evident.
"I've got everything right here," you reassured him.
"Cyno, make sure you bring her back safely!" Kaveh emphasized, his voice filled with genuine concern.
"Yes, of course. Let's go, Y/n," Cyno responded, gesturing for you to join him on the journey.
Following closely behind Cyno, you couldn't help but glance back at Kaveh and wave your hand.
"Goodbye!" you called out cheerfully, and Kaveh reciprocated with a warm smile and a wave. With a sense of reassurance, you turned your attention back to Cyno and continued to follow his lead.
Cyno couldn't help but admire your quiet and composed demeanor. Although you undoubtedly had numerous questions bubbling inside, you chose to keep them to yourself for the time being, planning to ask them during moments of rest and reflection.
Taking note of your calmness, Cyno decided to initiate a conversation.
"Would you like to use your umbrella?" he offered, gesturing towards the protective shade it could provide.
You pondered his question briefly before nodding, retrieving your umbrella from your backpack. Moving closer to Cyno, you walked side by side, sharing the shelter it offered from the sun's rays.
"You're truly kind, Y/n," Cyno remarked appreciatively, acknowledging your thoughtful gesture.

As the night grew late and the dangers of pressing on became more apparent, Cyno took out a blanket and covered you, ensuring your comfort and safety. Both of you decided it was time to rest. Cyno took it upon himself to create a makeshift tent, where you could sleep peacefully while he stood guard, keeping watch over the surroundings.
In the tranquility of your slumber, Cyno felt a sense of relief. He had been nervous about taking care of you, but Tighnari had lectured him extensively on how to fulfill his responsibilities. Tighnari, Kaveh, and Cyno were all fiercely protective, much like they were with Collei. However, your protection was even more pronounced due to your unique identity.
Nahida, with her own special abilities, often visited you in your dreams, teaching you words, numbers, and various other things. The company of your newfound companions brought you immense joy and fulfillment.
As the sun gradually rose, you awoke and ventured outside to find Cyno busy cooking breakfast. His alertness was evident, as the desert was far from a friendly environment.
"I've prepared breakfast, please eat," he said, gesturing for you to join him. You sat down on the sand and began to eat.
Cyno remained vigilant, mindful of the potential dangers surrounding you both. Once you finished your meal, he asked, "How was it?"
"It was very good," you replied with a contented smile.
Cyno patted your head affectionately and smiled back at you. "Y/n, you truly are an exceptional sister," he remarked before taking a seat next to you.
