AN: I believe I've made an error and accidentally deleted a chapter from the story. Oh dear, I'm not sure why Chapter 19 went missing. However, I still hope you'll enjoy this updated version.

After finishing dinner, you lent Petra a hand in tidying up the table.

"Love," Alhaitham called out.

"Hmm? Yeah?" You turned to him.

"W-would you... Uhm... Would you like to go for a walk?" he stuttered.

"Yeah, sure. Let me just finish this," you replied.

You wrapped up helping Petra and then dried your hands before heading to the living room.

"Come on," you beckoned Alhaitham, who glanced at the guys for approval.

With their nod, Alhaitham stood up, and the two of you strolled out of the cottage.

"Wow... The moon never ceases to amaze me," you commented as Alhaitham stayed silent. He reached for your hand, and you both continued your walk.

You continued to share dessert facts with him, even though he already knew them.

"Love, we've been together for five years now, right?" he asked.

"Yup, you got it right," you confirmed. He stopped walking in front of the full moon, bright sky, and twinkling stars, then knelt, holding your hand.

"I know we've been through a lot. We've had our ups and downs, but we've managed to work through them, right? You've been an exceptional partner. You just know what I want and what I need. I thank you for that. I know I've asked you lots of questions before, but I would like to ask you one more." Alhaitham retrieved something from his pocket, a small black velvet box. He carefully opened it, and your eyes welled up at the sight of the beautiful engagement ring inside.

"Will you marry me, my love?" he finally asked.

Tears streamed down your face as you nodded.

"Yes, of course!" you said between sobs. Alhaitham gently slid the ring onto your finger and stood up, cupping your cheek and kissing you. He was crying too.

It was a beautiful moment, one that felt magical, and you didn't want it to end.

"I love you so much," he said, wiping away your tears. You did the same for him.

"I love you too."

After a few more walks, and after circling the area, you and Alhaitham made your way back to the cottage. You shared the news with the others, and they cheered with joy.

"We told you not to worry too much!" Cyno said to Alhaitham. "But if you ever do something stupid to her... You should start worrying."

Nahida congratulated both of you, her happiness evident as she too started to cry.
