Everyone seemed to think about Leo too, because nobody said anything, and everyone looked lost in thought.
Percy tried a weak attempt at a joke, his voice cracking as he said,
"So how many monsters have you killed so far? Bet you can't beat my highscore of -1!"
Piper smiled weakly, and Frank shuffled his feet. Then Hazel ran off, and Jason saw she went to hug her brother Nico. Nico smiled weakly, and patted her back. Did Hazel know about the relationship? Jason thought. For a few days, Nico di Angelo and Will Solace had been together. The whole camp had been whispering, 'Solangelo' since defeating Gaia, and the boys finally confessed. Nico looked really happy with himself, and so did Will. They were a perfect fit.
Jason was glad that Will and Nico came, as it broke the awkward silence. He stared at the Hephaestus Cabin, and wondered what Leo would've been doing now. The others kept talking as if nothing had happened, but Jason still felt a hole in his heart. He looked all around, taking in the beautiful camp. Leo sacrificed himself so they could have this. However, Jason sometimes thought about the Physician's cure. Leo had had it, and he had been planning this for a long time. Was there a way he managed to drink it? Jason's thoughts were interrupted by a whistling sound followed by a crash. The eight of them turned their heads as they ran towards the sound.

Jason saw two figures slowly getting up in the distance, and he felt his heart pound in his chest. Who were these figures, he  asked himself. Most probably demigods, but where did they come from, camp Jupiter? Probably messengers again, this week there'd been three messengers from camp Jupiter because the Iris messages aren't working. They arrived at the scene, Jason up front next to Percy, followed by Annabeth and Piper, then Hazel, Frank, Nico, and Will behind them. Jason saw two limp bodies, the closest got up, and Percy went pale, stumbling back. The girl was beautiful, her auburn hair shining in the sunlight, and her dark eyes full of mystery. Jason looked at Percy, who was gaping at the girl, while Annabeth held him glaring.
"Bu-but you-island gods....-what?" Percy stammered. He looked like he might pass out. Jason would've questioned him, but he focused his attention on the other person. It was a boy, and he got up facing the other direction. From the back, he looked like, like Leo. The black curls, the latino skin. Jason looked at his clothes, burnt and tattered. It couldn't be, Leo was dead.
