Feeding the little girl in front of her she smiled seeing the child eat so much food. Danny he was the new child brought in a while ago, he was brought into the foster after his both guardians had died from an accident and with no close relatives take care of him and his older brother being in another country was so much harder.
He did not let anyone close to him, and that made Y/N persistent to keep him close to her. Her persistentness had now brought them here. Eating a whole blueberry pie to themselves. 'Just like Jeremy' she had thought.
After the whole incident at the bakery, she made sure to only buy small pastries or foods that doesn't have many fillings in it. No one knows how much Elliot put one of his secret ingredients into the food he sells, so when it came to pies and etc., she would buy it at the cafe long far away.
"I heard your brother will be back in a while Danny, his flight was delayed due to the typhoon I heard" She questioned in which she saw how the kid's eyes lit up in joy. "Now that we're brought to that topic, tell me what's your brother like?"
Danny only looked at her in the eyes, which he next looked at the locket in his neck. It was very old but it was still with him even after 6 years. "My brother is a very brave man, he is rich and handsome and cares for me a lot."
"But he is also very clumsy and is bald" he said right after, earning a giggle from the lady. " What's your brother's name anyway?"
Shocked at the question that was asked he looked down and contemplated on telling her. would it be safe? or will it bring problems only?
He looked at her eyes and sighed, "His name is A-" just then Amanda came in and said that Y/N was called to Eret's office. Looking back "Maybe you could tell it to me later little star, eat that now and take care of yourself, okay?" she said smiling so kindly at the kid before she went to Eret's office.
Opening the door to the said person's office, Eret jumped from his seat and greeted her. "Y/N, how've you been??" He asked smiling contently, she was a very interesting girl full of surprises. Like a magician as he would like to think.
The female laughed and looked at him oh so dearly, Eret was a very nice person to her, after exchanging greetings at one other, Y/n took seat next to Eret at the sofa in his office. The sofa was chocolate colored that was matched with his bronze striped colored walls.
The two talked a lot not knowing it took actual hours for them to share stories with one another.
Eret laughed swiping away his invisible tears, while brushing his hand through Y/N's (dark/light) colored hair. While telling stories midway Eret recommended that she should lay down on the sofa with her head on his lap as a joke, but she had surprisingly did it.
