Jude's entire life, she's been hiding behind the fake identity she's created for herself. She's known as the smart, gifted girl with the perfect family and life. But that's just what the people around her think. Know one truly knows her.
Jude grew up in a small town in South Africa. She was their perfect little trophy child. She used to be the valedictorian and the youngest player on the field hockey team. But it all changed when her "best friend" spread the rumour that ruined her life.
Jude fell apart. It was her deepest, darkest secret, and she trusted no one with it. But just a month before summer vacation, Hayley, the person she loved the most, found out and betrayed her.
Hayley must have done it out of jealousy. She was always second to Jude. But Hayley didn't know how much damage she had done. She ruined Jude's reputation and her life.
Jude relapsed back into anorexia and felt her depression getting worse. The little town that once worshipped her, saw her at her very worst and weakest.
