I left to pick up Elena 15 minutes after I talked to her to go to the pep rally. I pulled up to her house in my truck and leaned back against my seat with a sigh. I sat there for a minute staring at the house wondering what I was really trying to accomplish here. Was I getting close to Elena to get my brothers back? Yes, without a doubt. But a part of me wondered if there was more. Was I trying to gain back some of my humanity by making friends? Or was all of this one of my schemes.

I unbuckled my seat belt and walked to the door quickly. After a few seconds of no answer I knocked again but a little more frantic. No answer. "Elena?" I called from the doorway. Still no response.

My mind was going a hundred miles a minute wondering what could be wrong. I was a little early but she would be here. I glanced out into the driveway to see her car still sitting there. Thats when I had a horrible thought. What if someone got to her? Damon was always trying to find new ways to torture Stefan. What if he was going to use Elena. Did Damon take her and did god know what to her?

I started to get worried so I listened up for any sounds coming from the house. None in the bottom level in the house so I extended my hearing up to the top floor. I literally sighed with relief when I heard the shower running. Leaning against the wall of her house, I sliding down to a sitting position I waited. I shut my thoughts off not wanting to think about anything.

After a few minutes I heard the water turn off and footsteps into another room. I stood up and knocked on the door loudly. I heard Elena jump then yell down "Hang on! Be right down!" After a few more minutes she opened the door and smiled "Hey Emma. Sorry I was in the shower."

I laughed and shrugged. "No big deal I wasn't here for long."

She laughed with me. "Well as you can see I still need to get ready so you can come in. I bet my couch would be better than the porch floor" She rolled her eyes with a laugh then disappeared in the doorway, leaving it wide open for me.

I took a deep breath and hesitantly took a step in the doorway, landing my foot inside successfully. I smiled slightly to myself and walked into her living room, glancing around her living room. "Make yourself at home. I just have to finish getting ready then we'll go." Elena smiled and went up the stairs.

I took a seat on her couch and glanced around at the pictures on the walls. Most were of her. School pictures, Cheerleading pictures, pictures of her and her brother. My eyes fell on a picture of the four of them. Elena, Jeremy, and their parents who had recently passed. I felt myself sigh remembering what it was like to have a family. I have been on my own for 150 years and forgot some of the feelings.

Ever since I had come back to Mystic Falls, new feelings were beginning to show up. No, not new. Lost. Feelings that I hadn't felt since I was human surfacing now after so long. I wasn't sure how I should handle it.

**I am so sorry! I forgot all about it and I just never got a chance to upload. I know I kept you all waiting but I will try and keep posting. Unfortunatly I have been writing less and less and I don't know if I should continue... I have so much on my plate now with high school I just never have any time for writing. I'll do my best though LOVE YOU ALL!
