It was just a normal day, a Thursday and you were going home from school today and you just had to walk a little because your house was nearby. You were tired since your teacher had assigned you to be a group leader but your group members did not want to listen to you which made you feel a lot of stress and your teacher had felt very bad for you.

Hay, group mates.. your back is probably tired of carrying them ALL THE TIME.

In the end, after countless moments of bickering, they had listened and you had earned their respect. Which you had thanked God and yourself for having a big amount of patience. Good grief, you were now their 'idol' which you didn't even quite catch but atleast your group got the highest marks and your adviser even gave you a plus grade because of your leadership. You were walking and suddenly your phone had buzzed in your hands.

Bzzt!

You double tapped the screen your eyes avert to the front notification and you had gotten a text message from your father, but to your dismay- your phone died and you groaned in disappointment. Crap, what a bummer. "Ano ba yan!" (What is this!) Looks like you just had to run home, huh?

You can do it.

You breathed in and out, and you had decided to run because you never know that it might had been something important. Good thing your school shoes were pretty easy to run in. After just a few minutes you had reached your house and you sighed in relief before you had put your hand through the hole of the gate and you had pushed it on the left so that the gate could open. And when it did you pushed it back, and you had also put it back to where it was and you locked it.

When you walked to the door and you had twisted the door knob open and pushed it back, to your surprise that it wasnt locked your eyes had immediately noticed the bags and suitcases. Just what was happening? And your eyes met with your father that was carrying the bags, Gerald who you could tell was definitely worried sick for you based on his expression. You smiled awkwardly before waving, "Hi po.." and he looked weirdly worried.

Gulping, you expect him to answer quickly which he does not do so. In fact, he sighs deeply face to face with you.

"Anak! Bakit hindi mo ko sinagot? Nag-aalala ako rito- kami rito, kasi lagi ka namang mabilis sumagot sa text," (Child! Why did you not answer me? I was worried- we were worried, because you always answer fast in text.) He had exclaimed with a frown and he approached you as he took your backpack from your back, with a troubled expression and he just patted your head.

"Meron akong sasabihin sa iyo mamaya, magbihis ka muna sa kwarto mo." (I have something to say to you later, get dressed in your room.) He had ordered while he continues to do his own thing, walking away.

Why was he even getting bags outside? What was even happening.. but deep down you knew the thing that he was about to say to you later on was probably the reason why he's getting the bags. And the suitcases.. it could only mean one thing.

Are you going on a sudden trip? It's only Thursday.

Your eyes widened as you walk upstairs to your room, phone still in your hands and you had twisted the door knob to your room while getting in and you decide to get dressed while thinking about the possibilities that your father would say to you later. Your thoughts would all come down that your family was moving somewhere else or even worse- your family was going to live in another country. What about your friends? What about your school? Buut it was also kind of a blessing in disguise since it was pretty hot in the Philippines.
